Vacant World Boxing Council Super-Welterweight Title

Swedish fighter Patricia Berghult (15-0) won the vacant World Boxing Council super-welterweight title by defeating Switzerland’s Olivia Belkacem (10-3) this Saturday in Sweden.

It was a tough fight for both of them, but Berghult showed the highest quality to win the biggest victory of her career.

The Judges’ scorecards were 97-93 twice and 96-94, all in favour of new champion Berghult.
