Italian resident of Germany, Piergiulio Ruhe (8-1-0, 6 Ko’s), defeated the pride of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sladan Janjanin (29-7-0, 23 Ko’s), by majority decision in Alanya city, near Antalya, Turkey.

The match was very competitive, but Ruhe got the best of this action, hosted by Rene Hildebrandt.

With this triumph, Piergiulio Ruhe conquered the Middleweight Mediterranean title of the World Boxing Council.

The Referee was Robin Dolpierre. While Sergio Silvi, Jürgen Langos and Maurizio Renaudo were the Judges. . The Supervisor was Houcine Houichi, Vice President of the WBC and President of the ABU (African Boxing Union).
