World Boxing Council Silver Middleweight Champion Sam Eggington of Britain will face undefeated Frenchman Bilel Jkitou on Friday at the Skydome in Coventry, England.

Eggington (30-7-0, 18 KOs) comes into this bout after defeating tough Mexican Carlos Molina in a rugged fight, winning the WBC Silver middleweight title.

Jkitou (15-0, 6 KOs) turned pro in 2015. The 29-year-old Frenchman has had some interesting bouts at super welterweight and middleweight, but this time he will face a fighter with extensive experience.

In an interview with The Ring, Sam commented: “I know that Bilel is aggressive and fights going forward. He also has speed and good boxing. I train the same for most fights, I do it myself. I trained for me, not for my opponent. I have prepared myself to do what I do best and I am going to go out to win.”
