Sarchioto vs. Bucciarelli: Giovanni Sarchioto in line for biggest test

Rome, Italy – 24 July 2022

On July 24 in Ariccia, Italy, not far from Rome, Italians Francesco Sarchioto (14-1, 4 KOs) and Marino Bucciarelli (15-10, 4 KOs) will square off in the main event of a show at the Piazza Di Corte.

In a clash of youth vs. experience, the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Welterweight title will be on the line.

Both boxers hail from the Lazio region, Sarchioto from Anzio and Bucciarelli from Ceccano, so besides the UBO title they will also be fighting for local pride and bragging rights.

26-year-old Sarchioto has not lost since being on the wrong end of a decision in his pro debut, but he will without a doubt be in with his toughest opponent to date in Bucciarelli (39), who has twice challenged for the Italian national title.

It remains to be seen if the freshness of Sarchioto will be a deciding factor, or if the experience of Bucciarelli will be too much for the up-and-comer.

The Sarchioto vs. Bucciarelli UBO title fight will be promoted by Zompatore Boxe in association with Danilo Boxe and Imperium Boxe.
