Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez vs. Caleb Plant
Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez and Caleb Plant have struck a deal and will clash on November 6, for all the super middleweight belts.
Both fighters confirmed the fight through their social networks with publications:
“This November 6 we are going to put Mexican boxing on top. Let’s go for the missing belt! ”Canelo wrote. “You’ll see soon, I promise you,” penned Plant.
Additional terms regarding this important fight will be announced in the coming days.
Canelo is the super middleweight champion of the World Boxing Council, the World Boxing Association and the World Boxing Organization, while Plant is going to place 7 the title of the International Boxing Federation at stake.
The winner would become the first unified world champion at 168 pounds. Álvarez from Guadalajara (56-1-2, 38KOs) and Plant (21-0, 12KOs) from Ashland City, Tennessee will fight in Las Vegas.
