Californian contender Sebastián “La Torre del Inferno” Fundora remained unbeaten, defeating surging Spanish fighter Sergio García by unanimous decision, in a super welterweight elimination duel of the World Boxing Council, this Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California , USA.

The fight was close, with Garcia fighting intensely to counter the lofty physical advantages of Fundora, who is 1.97 meters tall, and who astutely uses a 203 cms reach.

The fight went the full scheduled 12 rounds, and the score cards were for Fundora: 115-113, 117-111 and 118-110.

With this result, Fundora improves his record to 18-0-1, with 12 knockouts, while the courageous Sergio “El Niño” García lost his undefeated, leaving his record at 33-1, with 14 knockouts.
