French star Segolene Lefebvre will return to the ring against an old foe on May 28 – as she faces former IBF flyweight champion Gabriela Bouvier for the vacant WBC Silver female super-bantamweight title.

The two women will collide in Salle Gayant, Douai, Nord, France on Friday 28 May – as undefeated Lefebvre (13-0, 1 KO) makes her highly-anticipated return for the first time since October 2019.

Her last fight came when she defeated Ana Maria Lozano to retain her WBF female super-bantamweight title, with the 27-year-old now looking to add another belt to her collection.

Lefebvre already holds a win over Bouvier from earlier in her career, picking up a unanimous decision victory over her back in April 2018.

Bouvier (15-10-1, 3 KOs) will be standing in her way once again, with the Uruguayan reigning as IBF flyweight title champion from 2013 to 2014, while she has also challenged for world honours at super-flyweight and bantamweight during her career.
