Two Undeafetead Cruiserweights

Former Turkish amateur stand-out, and now undefeated professional, Serdar Avci, 9-0 (9), was originally scheduled to fight for the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Interim World Cruiserweight title last February.

Unfortunately his opponent, Pascal Ndomba, tested positive for Covid-19 so the fight was called off at very short notice as no suitable replacement could be secured.

Now Avci is set to take on what is perhaps an even more risky opponent, when he squares off with undefeated Georgian Zaal Kvezereli, 7-0 (7), for the title on May 19 in Kiev, Ukraine.

Like Avci, Kvezereli was an accomplished amateur and has transitioned well to the pro game, stopping all his foes inside the distance.

With both boxers bringing a 100% knockout ratio, it would be a surprise if this fight goes the full twelve rounds.

The UBO title fight is one of the featured bouts of a show promoted by Champion Boxing Promotions, and will be televised by several outlets.
