On December 19, at the Marriott Century Center in Atlanta, the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Middleweight title will be at stake in the main event when One Slick Boxer Promotions presents its final card of the year.

In an attempt to win his first professional championship, local favourite Sixto Suazo takes on Louisiana-resident Rance Ward in what could turn out to be a very crowd-pleasing encounter between ambitious fighters.

Suazo (32) has been very active in 2021, putting together five wins and a draw so far, to bring his record to a fine 9-1-1 (7).

But in Ward (27) he will be facing an opponent who is just as hungry to become UBO champion.

Ward is much better than his somewhat mediocre 5-3-1 (2) ledger suggests. He has never been stopped, and last May he was competitive when losing a decision to 18-1 Winfred Harris Jr. Since then he has rebounded with a victory in August.

Billed as The Atlanta Holiday Season Hit Fest, the UBO title fight will be preceded by a strong undercard featuring additional local talent in well-matched fights.
