On this day: Jermain Taylor won Bronze at the 2000 Olympics

Jermain Taylor, from Arkansas, won the Bronze medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. In the next year he would make his pro debut, and in 2005 he defeated Bernard Hopkins to conquer the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO world title. Until last year he had a record of 33 victories with 20 KO´s, 1 draw and 4 defeats.
