Adli Hafidz vs. Robert Kopa

Bekasi City, Indonesia 2/10/21

Since turning professional in the spring of 2018, Malaysian Adli “Goldenboy” Hafidz (8-0, 4 KOs) has already captured two titles in only eight bouts.

In March of 2019 he showed mettle by coming off the floor to stop Bambang Rusiadi in five rounds to win a WBC regional title, and seven months on he won a WBA ditto when he got rid of Ramadhan Weriuw, in the fourth.

On October 2 in Bekasi City, Indonesia, he will attempt to add the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Middleweight title to his collection, when he faces local man Robert Kopa.

Kopa, a former Indonesian national and WBO regional champion, brings a 14-9-3 (4) record to the fight, and will see this as a big opportunity to resurrect his career.

The bout will serve as the co-feature to a clash between Indonesian rivals Patrick Liukhoto and George Lumoly who squares off for the UBO World Bantamweight title.

For Hafidz it is a chance to show that by winning his third championship in less than ten outings, he is himself ready to challenge for a world title soon.

The UBO double-header will be promoted by Hodlif Hun and his Viktori Target Promotions, in association with SoF Promotions.
