Adli Hafidz defeats Theerawat Yoohanngoh – UBO world title in Singapore
Adli Hafidz vs. Theerawat Yoohanngoh
225 Joo Chiat road, Singapore – 30 April 2022
After numerous postponements of his opportunity, Adli Hafidz is finally the new Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) World Middleweight Champion.
On Saturday, April 30, in Singapore, the undefeated Malaysian took on former PABA ruler Theerawat Yoohanngoh from Thailand, a late replacement for Komsan Polsat, and he made sure that everything had been worth the wait.
Hafidz, who entered the fight as the UBO Inter-Continental Champion, was determined from the start and made sure to keep his foe on the offensive with stinging jabs and crisp combinations to both body and head.
After two dominating rounds, he put an exclamation point on a near flawless performance in round three when he floored Yoohanngoh three times, forcing the referee to save the Thai from further punishment.
The new UBO World Middleweight Champion, who is also a former WBC and WBA Asia titlist, took his professional record to 10-0 (6). Yoohanngoh falls to 25-14 (17).
The fight headlined a show promoted by KBX Events, in association with Singapore Fighting Championships and AGH Promotions.
