Undefeated Ricardo “Finito” Lopez, successfully defended his WBC straw-weight title, unleashing a devastating KO in round 8 on Philippine challenger, Ala Villamor. The bout took place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. The third man in the ring was Joe Cortez. The Judges were Carol Castellano, Daniel Van de Wiele and Alfred Asaro.
