The Greatest, Muhammad Ali, defeated Alfredo Evangalista by unanimous decision over 15 rounds, to successfully defend the WBC heavyweight title. The fight took place at the Capitol Centre in Landover, Maryland. The Referee was Harry Cecchini. The Judges were Terry Moore and Ray Klinqmeyer.
