Christian Mbilli vs. Ronald Ellis Result

Zembo Shrine in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA – 11 December 2021

Eye of the Tiger Management, A&H Boxing and Capital Punishment Boxing Club in association with The Queen, Mise-O-Jeu and Videotron presented Saturday’s boxing gala featuring Christian “Solide” Mbilli against Ronald “Reckless” Ellis. In addition, brothers Antonio and Angel Perez were also back in action at the Zembo Shrine in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

In the main event of the evening, boxing fans had the pleasure of seeing Christian Mbilli in his championship fight against Ronald Ellis. From the very first moments of the fight, Marc Ramsay’s protégé rushed his opponent and put him on the ropes while maintaining constant pressure, allowing him to dominate the first few rounds. Ellis adjusted around the fifth round where he was able to keep Mbilli at distance. However, this strategy did not work for long against a hungry and incredibly well conditioned Mbilli. The man nicknamed Solide continued his work of destruction to win this significant fight with the help of a unanimous decision by the judges who handed out cards of 99 to 91 as well as two identical cards of 100 to 90. Mbilli returns to Quebec with his WBC Continental of Americas title and continues his journey to the top.

“We entered the ring on boos and whistles but we left with a round of applause. I did the job I had to do tonight, and I let my team take care of the rest. I proved that I am one of the elite and that I can fight with the best even if it is on their home turf. I am ready to fight anyone! Give us 5 days to prepare and we will find a way to win. Thank you all! This is just the beginning!” said Christian Mbilli in his post-fight interview on Punching Grace.

In addition, Angel Perez managed to get rid of his opponent Maxime Gilli in the first round. Right from the beginning, Perez hammered Gilli with power shots that left no choice for the referee but to stop the fight after only 58 seconds. Meanwhile, his twin brother, Antonio Perez, also won with a flawless performance. In front of a very animated crowd, Antonio surprised his opponent with a powerful shot that sent Jessie Addison to the floor in the 2nd round. He managed to beat the count of 10, but the referee quickly stopped the fight to a few moments later. Both Perez twins continue their rise to the great pleasure of the fans in attendance.

In addition, the French Salim Larbi and Nicolas Hernandez had to deal with a draw at the end of their intense confrontation of 8 assaults. Furthermore, Lateesha Molh completely dominated her opponent, Amber Swift, in her professional debut. Thus Molh returns home with a unanimous decision victory in the bank. To open the show, Montana Perez defeated Apolinar Lopez by unanimous decision in their 4 round bout.
