The Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame (ACBHOF) announces its guest list for the 6th Annual Awards & Induction Weekend is to be held on Friday, October 7th thru Sunday, October 9th, 2022, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

The ACBHOF induction weekend commences at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City on Friday, October 7th, with the Opening Bell “Boxing & Music” Cocktail Reception 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm hosted by: Roxanne Shante, Comedy by: Former Light Heavyweight Champion Montell “Ice” Griffin and Music by DJ I Am Young Hitta: this will be a fun-filled night where boxing legends show off their karaoke skills, $50.00 admission fee online and at the door. Free admission on Saturday, October 8th, Our Fight Fan Experience & Boxing Exhibits 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The weekend will culminate with the Induction and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, October 9th, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

The confirmed list of our previous honorees and other special guests that will be in attendance includes Roberto Duran, Michael Spinks, Shannon Briggs, Paulie Malignaggi, Vinny Paz, Ray Mercer, Tim Witherspoon, Kelly Pavlik, Michael Olajide, Iran Barkley, Pinklon Thomas, Michael Nunn, Steve Cunningham, Ruben Olivares, Danny “Little Red” Lopez, Jeff Chandler, Mike Rossman, and legendary promoter J Russell Peltz, to name a few.

Tickets are on sale for the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame (ACBHOF) 6th Annual Awards & Induction Weekend to be held Friday, October 7th, Saturday, October 8th, and Sunday, October 9th, 2022, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

The ACBHOF induction weekend commences at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City on Friday, October 7th with the Opening Bell “Boxing & Music” Cocktail Reception 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, $50.00 admission fee online and at the door, and Saturday, October 8th, Fight Fan Experience & Boxing Exhibits 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, free admission.

The Highlight of the weekend is Sunday, October 9th, at our red-carpet formal Induction Ceremony which takes place in an award show atmosphere. Join us as we honor and enshrine all who helped make Atlantic City a worldwide boxing Mecca. Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to mix and mingle with special guests, including entertainers, sports icons, government officials, and more. In addition, many of our previous honorees will be in attendance.

The 5th Annual Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame event promises an action-packed weekend filled with interactive fan experiences, exhibits, live amateur bouts, and the must-attend Induction Ceremony on Sunday, August 22, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in the Sound Waves Theater.
The red-carpet formal celebration will honor and enshrine many great boxers and notable contributors who made Atlantic City the worldwide boxing mecca. Guests will enjoy the opportunity to mix and mingle with more than 20 special guests, including entertainers, sports icons, government officials, and more. From basketball star Lamar Odom to boxing legends Paulie Malignaggi, Michael Olajide, Ray Mercer, Michael Spinks, Tim Witherspoon, and Iran Barkley to Grammy award-winning songwriter Fred Jerkins, Hip Hop Legend and Sirius XM Radio Host Roxanne Shante and actor Daryl’ Chill’ Mitchell to Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr., and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, and Victor Manuelle a Latin Grammy-nominated American salsa singer, known to his fans as El Sonero de la Juventud (“The Singer of Youths”) will sing the national anthem. Many other great fighters, both current & future stars and former World Champions, will be in attendance.
At the Induction Ceremony, which takes place from 4 pm to 8 pm, attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar followed by an awards presentation filled with live music, tribute dance performance, and more.

From August 20 through August 22, the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame will host the 5th Annual Induction Weekend, which will provide boxing enthusiasts with the experience of a lifetime. There is something for everyone to enjoy in this action-packed weekend hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, along with FantaSea Resorts and Claridge – A Radisson Hotel.

Hampshire Ave.). Together they will bring an all-inclusive Sustainable Health & Wellness and Fitness Village, “Going the Distance to a Healthier Atlantic City.” The village will offer screenings, seminars, pop-up vendors, healthy food choices, music, fitness, and a live amateur boxing show. Boxing fans can enjoy a front-row seat to watch the AC Invitational with Elite boxers both far and near featuring National Youth Champion Sierra Martinez, who is a seven-time National champion from the United States vs. Tayshka “La Rusa” Gonzalez, who is a two-time National Champion from Puerto Rico and 15 additional exciting bouts.

The Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame officially announces its 5th Annual Induction Weekend scheduled for August 20 through August 22, 2021.

Boxing enthusiasts will enjoy the experience of a lifetime with an action-packed weekend of festivities hosted at Atlantic City resort industry leader, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, along with FantaSea Resorts and the historic Claridge – A Radisson Hotel who will team up to rollout the red carpet for this memorable event.

“It’s a GREAT day for Atlantic City as I’m elated to welcome the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame back to our great city. Ray McCline and his organization continue to pay homage to our storied boxing history by honoring the legends who made Atlantic City the home of many great fights,” said Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. “My administration will continue to support the efforts of the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame and I can’t wait for the festivities.”

The Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Celebration will offer boxing enthusiasts a weekend full of great programming which will include a kick-off cocktail reception, meet & greets, spectacular artwork and exhibits.

In addition, ACBHOF will partner with New Jersey Give a Kid a Dream “Girls in Gloves” non-profit and CareSparc Consulting to bring an all-inclusive Sustainable Health & Wellness and Fitness Village “Going the Distance to a Healthier Atlantic City.

” The village will offer screenings, seminars, pop-up vendors, healthy food choices, music, and fitness as well as a live amateur boxing show, “Atlantic City Invitational featuring Team Puerto Rico versus Team Select” and much more all taking place with the Atlantic Ocean and Historic Boardwalk as the perfect backdrop.

“We are thrilled to host the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame for their Induction event. Boxing has such a deep and meaningful history in the Atlantic City community, and we are humbled to be a part of it,” said Shelley Williams, Vice President of Sales at Hard Rock Atlantic City. “We are eager to welcome guests back to our meeting space safely with our market-leading ‘Safe + Sound’ protocols.”
