Canadian southpaw, Lou Brouillard, became middleweight world Champion after defeating American Benjamin Morris Jebaltowsky, also known as Ben Jeby by KO in the 7th round. The fight took place at the Polo Grounds baseball park in New York. The Referee, Pete Harley, was in charge of making the necessary 10 count.
