P2M wants to ensure a comeback of professional boxing in Germany Kick-off event with women’s double world championship.

The P2M Boxing Promotion, which was newly founded in Hamburg, has set itself the goal of making a comeback of professional boxing in Germany.

The creators of P2M are investor Axel Plass, shareholder of one of the most successful German logistics companies (Zippel Group) and the cousins Christian and Raiko Morales, who have gained experience in various functions in amateur and professional boxing over many years.

At the start, the new promotion succeeded in signing promising fighters.

Nina Meinke (29 years old) has been one of the most famous German female boxers for years. The European champion from Berlin narrowly and controversially lost her featherweight world championship fight on points in April and now wants to finally secure a world championship belt with her new promoter P2M.

Meinke: “I’m really looking forward to the new team and their professional approach. I finally have long-term support in my career and can fully concentrate on the sport. With this new motivation, I now only have one goal in mind, which is to win the World Championship.”

P2M managed a real coup with the signing of the middleweight Simon Zachenhuber from Stuttgart, who had been approached by different promoters. The 24-year-old Bavarian, who became known to a broad public through his likeable appearances in “Let’s Dance” on RTL, is unbeaten in 17 professional fights and is the current IBF Junior World Champion and International German Champion in the middleweight division.

Zachenhuber: “I had offers from various promoters, but the long-term and sustainable concept of P2M and the people behind it completely convinced me. I’m looking forward to working with the new team and I am certain that together we will achieve great things.”

P2M has a strong focus on the heavyweight division.

With Peter Kadiru (25 years) from Hamburg, the current German champion, and the highly talented 2.05 meter tall Viktor Jurk (22 years) from Flensburg, P2M was able to sign the two most promising young German boxers in the top weight class. Both have already spent several weeks as highly praised sparring partners in world title preparation camps run by Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora. Peter Kadiru is currently even facing a possible EBU European Championship fight. The two heavyweight pros are advised by former Klitschko manager Bernd Bönte, who is looking forward to working with the new boxing promotion.

Bönte: “I’m thrilled that with P2M a new player has entered the boxing business. The fact that Axel Plass is convinced of the sustainable concept of the new boxing stable and is involved as a strategic investor is a great benefit for boxing in Germany. I am firmly convinced that with these talented and very marketable athletes, German boxing will make a strong comeback. I’m convinced that with these marketable fighters we will soon see a big comeback of boxing on German TV.”

Felix Langberg (30 years old) from Rostock completes the P2M heavyweight trio. Felix is already a star in his hometown and fills the biggest halls there. No wonder with his convincing professional record of 10 victories, 9 of them by knockout! Outside the boxing ring, Felix focuses on his company „Plant for Future“, which works to protect and reforest rainforests.

Kick-off event of the box promotion on November 5th, 2022

On November 5, Nina Meinke in the featherweight division and Dilar Kisikyol from Hamburg in the lightweight division will both fight for the WIBF World Championship in front of 400 invited guests at the Porsche Center in Hamburg. The WIBF is the oldest women’s world boxing association. Regina Halmich, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, was WIBF world flyweight champion from 1997 to 2007. In addition, Simon Zachenhuber, Peter Kadiru, Viktor Jurk and Felix Langberg will step into the ring for the first time for P2M.
