Alejandro “El Tocino” Meneses defeated José Luis “El Puma” Rodríguez by knockout at 2:57 in the fourth round, to become the WBA FECARBOX Welterweight Champion on EstrellaTV’s monthly boxing series, Boxeo EstrellaTV. The series occurs on the last Friday of every month and is broadcast live from the Foro Centenario in Mexico City.

In the early rounds, Rodríguez tried to fight from a long distance, with straight blows to his opponent’s face but did not hurt Meneses. Both fighters showed venturing fighting styles to launch blows, with a headbutt costing Rodríguez one point after hitting the left side of Meneses. In the fourth round, Meneses managed to find a gap in Rodriguez’s guard, sending him to the canvas, without the possibility of getting up – which resulted in the culmination of the fight and a victory for Meneses.

Jesús Manuel “Estrellita” Ruiz of Sonora went home with a TKO victory early in the seventh round with Belmar Preciado in a 10-round Super Bantamweight semi-final fight.

Diego “Maravilla” Carmona defeated Luis “Huracán” Ramos Toala by effective knockout at 1:42 of the first round, in an 8-round Super Welterweight fight.

Jonathan Alexis “la Flaka” Ramírez fell to Edgar “El Diablo” Espinoza by technical knockout at 47 seconds in the seventh round, in an 8-round Super Featherweight fight.

In the 6-round Flyweight fight, Brandon Alberto “Ratón Jiménez junior” Jiménez fought to defeat Armando “Taz” Terreros by unanimous decision, 60-53, 59-54, and 59-54.

In a 4-round Super Bantamweight fight, Jorge “El Russo” Ascanio of San Luis Potosí defeated Fernando Job Chichia of the State of Mexico by technical knockout at 2:38 in the third round.

Axl Raí Miranda of Mexico City was surprised by Ismael “Borrego” Avilés of Mexico City and won by technical knockout at 1:02 in the first round after knocking him down twice, in a 4-round Super Lightweight fight.

Leonardo “Dali” Anguiano from Mexico City exploded dynamite on Andrés Martínez González from the State of Mexico and beat him by TKO at 23 seconds, in a 4-round Middleweight fight.

In a 4-round Super Welterweight fight, Ulises “Ali” Rangel Bañales from the State of Mexico failed to decipher Brayan Axel “Torbellino” Mora from the State of Mexico, who took victory home by majority decision, 37-39, 38-38 and 37-39.
