Gavin Gwynne and Luke Willis each made their intentions perfectly clear as they met prior to their British and Commonwealth lightweight title fight on Friday’s #MTKFightNight.

This week’s stacked show is broadcast live on IFL TV and takes place at York Hall in London, and also features an English super-welterweight title fight between Sam Gilley and Drew Brown.

Elsewhere on Friday’s card, Nina Hughes takes on Bec Connolly, plus Sultan Zaurbek, Carl Fail, Elliot Whale, Dean Richardson, Paul Ryan and Jimmy Croxson are all in action.

The fighters went head to head on Wednesday before Friday’s all-important fight night, and here’s what everybody had to say.

Gwynne said: “I’ve put everything into this camp, and I’m leaving on Friday with two belts wrapped around my waist. I can’t wait and I wish it was tomorrow. I just want to get in there and fight.

“I think it will be a fight of two halves. One of my strongpoints is my stamina and I could probably do 24 rounds if I needed to. I’ve always believed in myself, and that’s what’s got me this third crack at the British title.

“This is my time, and I know what I have to do to win. If it comes by stoppage so be it, or if it’s on points that’s fine, all I know is I’ll be leaving the ring on Friday as the British and Commonwealth champion.”

Willis said: “Talk is cheap, it will be me leaving with the belts. I respect Gavin and what he’s done, but the best version of me beats the best version of him, and on Friday night you’ll see.

“There is so much talent in Liverpool, and I want to thank Tony Bellew and MTK Global for getting me this shot at the British and Commonwealth titles, I’m going to grab it with both hands.

“This might be my first 12 rounder, but I’ve prepared for this not only the last 10 weeks, but my whole life. I have never stopped believing in me, and I always felt I would be a champion. On Friday night it happens.”

Hughes said: “I feel like I’ve been training for four months for this fight. I need to get this out the way first so I’m not looking past it, but after this fight, world titles are what I want.

“I’m just really excited to be stepping back in the ring again, so I can’t wait for Friday night. I know that I’ll be coming out with the win.”

Connolly said: “I always want to test myself against the best in the world and when I retire I can say that I’ve fought the best. I have every confidence in myself and I’m going to put on a cracking performance and go for the win.

“Anything can happen in boxing, one punch changes everything and it comes down to small margins, so I’m excited to go in there and show what I can do.”

O’Leary said: “The last time I was fighting was October, and I wanted to spend Christmas with my family. I’ve been back training really hard since January, and I have a great team around me.

“People haven’t seen half of what I can do, and I’m excited that you’ll see the best of me soon. It’s only a matter of time.”

Fail said: “I’m in the gym all year round and I just want to stay busy and stay active. We’ll get this opponent out of the way on Friday and then I want to move forward.

“I want to push for titles. I know that I can’t run before I can walk, but I believe that I’m ready and I will truly fight anybody.”

Richardson said: “It’s been two years since my last fight and a frustrating time, but I believe I’ve made a lot of improvements in the gym while I’ve been out, and on Friday night I will show it.

“York Hall is a great venue and it’s the home of British boxing. I’ve got another night fighting there and it’s going to be another win. We’ll get the momentum going again, and then I’m looking for the English title next.”

Croxson said: “I can’t wait. I have got this opportunity and now it’s down to me to perform, and I’m sure I will. I’ve been in the gym working hard and I’m going to 100% get the win on Friday.”

MTK Global Promoter Lee Eaton said: “It’s a great card. The top of the bill speaks for itself. British and Commonwealth titles is what fighters are involved in the sport for, so it’s going to be a special night at York Hall. Gavin is already the Commonwealth champion, and now he gets his chance to fight for the British title.

Elsewhere on the card we have Sam Gilley in a great fight against Drew Brown, and also Nina Hughes and Bec Connolly finally getting it on. The winner of that should move on and hopefully go straight into a Commonwealth title fight.

“Pierce O’Leary is back and he is one of the most exciting prospects we have on the roster, and he’s one of the nicest kids you’ll meet too. After this it will be titles next, and he’s going all the way.

“Jimmy Croxson is making his debut, and I’ve known him since he was a kid, he’s grown into a man now, and I’m excited to see him make his professional debut. He’ll admit himself he wasn’t very good when he started, but he’s trained hard and put his whole life into boxing.

“Carl Fail is one of the best young prospects in British boxing. He was on Team GB and is now 5-0 already having taken on some tough tests. He’s got another difficult opponent this week, and then we’ll maybe look at a Southern Area title eliminator next.

“Dean Richardson has had two years out, but now he’s signed with MTK Global and we’re looking forward to getting him straight out and then into championship fights in the summer.”

Gavin Gwynne plans on making history for Merthyr and Wales when he faces Luke Willis for the British and Commonwealth lightweight titles on Friday’s huge #MTKFightNight.

This week’s stacked show takes place at York Hall in London and will be broadcast live in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank.

Gwynne (14-2, 3 KOs) is the reigning Commonwealth champion, while the vacant British title will also be up for grabs in the showdown against undefeated Willis (11-0, 1 KO).

Victory for Gwynne would see him become the first British champion from Merthyr in over 40 years, following on from the legendary Johnny Owen, and the 31-year-old plans on doing Wales proud.

Gwynne said: “I want to go down in history and make a legacy for myself. A lot of people say they’re fighting for their families and everything else, but when I step into the ring I’m fighting for myself.

“My boxing journey so far has had a lot of ups and downs and it’s been a rollercoaster. I’m getting back up there now and we’re only a few fights from a mega fight. This is my third attempt at the British title and it will mean the absolute world to me to me to win it.

“Bringing the British title back to Wales would mean everything. I’d be the first person to bring the British title back to Mertyr since Johnny Owen, so that’s history in itself.

“Wales has got a long history of world champions, with the likes of Lee Selby, Gavin Rees, Nathan Cleverly and Joe Calzaghe, so it would be amazing to put my name alongside those.

“I’ve been putting everything into this. My body has been through torture in this camp to make sure I’m 100% right on April 15th. This is a must win because I’m getting on in the years now. I’m 32 so I don’t want to fall back down the rankings and have to start to build again.

“My prediction for fight night is just a Gavin Gwynne victory. It doesn’t matter whether it comes on points, or by stoppage, I just want to win.”

Even more undefeated stars have been added to next month’s #MTKFightNight event – with Carl Fail, Elliot Whale and Dean Richardson all returning on the bill.

The card is headlined by a British and Commonwealth lightweight title fight between Gavin Gwynne and Luke Willis and takes place on April 15 at York Hall in London, which will be broadcast live in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV.

Fail (5-0, 2 KOs) makes a speedy return after kicking off 2022 with a dominant victory last week, after also claiming four impressive wins in 2021.

Whale (5-0, 1 KO) was last in the ring in December when he defeated Miroslav Serban on points, going alongside his win over previously undefeated Jamie Stewart back in February 2021.

Former Southern Area super-welterweight champion Richardson (12-0, 9 KOs) makes his long-awaited comeback too, as he competes for the first time since March 2020.

MTK Global Promoter Lee Eaton said: “We’re delighted to add even more highly-rated fighters to our huge MTK Fight Night event at York Hall next month.

“Carl Fail is destined for big things and has carried his success from the amateurs into the professionals, so we’re glad to have him on the card. Elliot Whale is another who is touted to achieve a lot so we can’t wait to see him step through the ropes again.

“It’s fantastic to have Dean Richardson finally return after over two years out too, so it looks set to be yet another stacked show.”

Isaac Lowe came up short in his final eliminator for the IBF featherweight title as Luis Alberto Lopez claimed the win after an incredible battle on Friday’s #MTKFightNight.

The action-packed event was taking place at York Hall in London, and was broadcast in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV.

Lowe and Lopez had a back and forth war, but in the end it was who came out on top, dropping Lowe three times on his way to a seventh round stoppage victory.

Elsewhere on the card, there were wins for Charlie Edwards, Elliot Whale, Carl Fail, Shiloh Defreitas, Inder Bassi and Nina Hughes. Here’s everything you need to know from a brilliant night of action…

LUIS ALBERTO LOPEZ beat ISAAC LOWE via TKO at 2:38 of round 7

Luis Alberto Lopez came out on top in his IBF featherweight title final eliminator with Isaac Lowe, claiming the seventh round stoppage win after a fantastic fight.

It was an extremely quick start, with Lopez (24-2, 13 KOs) dropping Lowe after 10 seconds with the very first shot he threw, before earning another knockdown in round two.

Lowe (21-1-3, 6 KOs) was able to recover and gave as good as he got during the fight, but in the end Lopez proved to be too much, gaining another knockdown in round seven thanks to a body shot, with referee Marcus McDonnell waving off the fight and handing Lopez the impressive win.

Lopez said: “I’m very happy to get the win, especially as it’s tough to come to another country and be victorious. I have been training a lot the pats year and this was great for me.

“The punch I have been working on in sparring paid off, so I’m really pleased. I am so excited to win this eliminator, and I want Kiko Martinez next.”

CHARLIE EDWARDS beat JACOB BARRETO via TKO at 1:35 of round 2

Charlie Edwards returned to the ring in style, as he picked up a second round stoppage victory over Jacob Barreto.

It was the first time in over 12 months that Edwards (17-1, 7 KOs) had stepped back through the ropes, but he wasted little time, dominating proceedings from the off before landing a huge left hook that send Barreto (13-4, 5 KOs) to the canvas in round two.

The Spaniard was unable to recover, with the referee seeing enough and calling a halt to the bout, as Edwards secured the extremely impressive win inside the distance.

Edwards said: “I’m back in style. We’ve been working on a lot of things in the gym, and I feel fit and strong. It was a great camp with Joe Gallagher and this was the first step to becoming a two-time world champion.

“York Hall is my home, I’m a Repton boy. I finished my amateur career here, and I fought here in the National Championships at 14. It makes me feel proud of myself and how far I’ve come.

“I trained for this fight like I trained for my world title fight when I beat Rosales. I’m mentally back, and with Joe we’ll go all the way. It’s one step at a time but we’re coming for another world title

“2022 will be a massive year for me, at either super-flyweight or bantamweight. Wherever the opportunities are I’m there.”

SHILOH DEFREITAS beat DARIO BOROSA via TKO at 2:26 of round 1

Rising star Shiloh Defreitas dazzled at York Hall once again, picking up a vicious first round knockout victory over Dario Borosa.

Defreitas (2-0, 2 KOs) was back for his second fight after an extremely impressive debut in October, and the man known as ‘Sugar Shy’ picked up right where he left off, dropping Borosa with a left to the body midway through the first round.

Borosa was able to recover, but Defreitas jumped straight back on him and knocked him down again with another big body shot, with the Croatian stopped this time around, as ‘Sugar Shy’ became just the third man in 18 fights to defeat Borosa inside the distance.

Defreitas said: “I’m grateful. It was a last minute opponent and I didn’t really know who I was fighting. I was going to feel him out in the first round but the body shot was there and I got it.

“I’ll fight anybody. I felt like I rushed it a bit, but I landed the right shots at the right time, so I made it an easy night’s work. In my first year as a professional I want 6 to 8 fights. I love everybody for tuning in, you’ll see lots of me so enjoy the show.”

ELLIOT WHALE beat MIROSLAV SERBAN 60-54 on points after 6 rounds

Elliot Whale extended his unbeaten record as claimed a comfortable points victory over tough Czech fighter Miroslav Serban.

Whale (5-0, 1 KO) was back in action for the first time since February, but the 24-year-old hadn’t missed a step, controlling the fight from start to finish.

Serban (13-8, 7 KOs) was unable to offer much back, with Whale boxing well on his way to a 60-54 points verdict on referee Lee Every’s scorecard.

Whale said: “I’m happy to be back. He was quite a durable opponent, and I’m glad to be back after a hand injury.

“I’ve got a good training team that teach me lots in the gym. I’m always learning and I’m looking forward to the future. I want to have a clean run in 2022.

“I’ve been a professional two years now but due to COVID and injuries I’ve been a bit stop start, but hopefully next year I can kick on and maybe fight for an English title.”

INDER BASSI beat VASIF MAMEDOV 40-36 on points after 4 rounds

Inder Bassi claimed his second victory in a month as he banked more valuable rounds on his way to defeating Vasif Mamedov on points.

Bassi (5-1) had earned a win at York Hall back in November, and he was there again on Friday for the clash with Mamedov, with Bassi performing well throughout the fight.

It led to a shutout points win, with referee Marcus McDonnell scoring it 40-36 to Bassi, who took his record to 5-1 in the process.

Bassi said: “I don’t think I was the best I could be, but I was happy to get the four rounds. I stepped up the gears as the fight went on and showed I was fit, but I got the win and that’s all that matters.

“He was a tough opponent, so credit to him. Speed kills, and I kept it tidy and stuck to my boxing throughout the fight. The next 12 months will be exciting, and hopefully this time next year I’ll be fighting for titles.”

NINA HUGHES beat CLAUDIA FERENCZI 60-54 on points after 6 rounds

Nina Hughes entered the paid ranks in style as she successfully won her professional debut with a victory over Claudia Ferenczi.

Hughes (1-0) brought an illustrious amateur career into the fight, and it soon became clear that she was able to transition into the professional game with ease, landing huge shots throughout the contest.

Ferenczi showed her toughness and managed to last the distance, but it was a convincing win for Hughes, with the referee scoring it 60-54 in her favour.

Hughes said: “I’m so happy and over the moon to get the first one out of the way. I knew she was tough and doesn’t usually get stopped, so I knew I’d have to work hard for all six rounds.

“I want to thank everybody that bought a ticket to come and watch me, and the support was amazing. I want to push on and get a few bouts and then push for titles. Whoever gets me there the quickest I’ll fight.”

CARL FAIL beat JOSE CARLOS CLAVERO 60-53 on points after 6 rounds

Carl Fail continued the great start to his professional career as he dropped Jose Carlos Clavero on his way to a shutout points win.

Fail knocked down Clavero with a massive shot at the end of round one, but the tough Spaniard showed his toughness by getting back up and continuing.

Fail continued to dictate proceedings as the fight continued though, landing a number of great shots on his way to a 60-53 points win, claiming his fourth victory of 2021 in the process.

Lopez-Lowe and supporting bouts will stream live and exclusively in the United States on ESPN+ at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.

Lopez (23-2, 11 KOs), the IBF No. 5 contender from Mexicali, Mexico, is riding a six-bout winning streak since a 2019 loss to Ruben Villa. He edged Andy Vences by split decision in a 2020 Fight of the Year contender, then started his 2021 campaign in Mexico with a first-round knockout. He entered the Flores fight — Sept. 10 in Tucson, Arizona — as a sizable underdog. In a relentless show of pressure fighting, Flores somehow survived the 10-round onslaught, and Lopez earned the one-sided decision.

Lowe (21-0-3, 6 KOs), the IBF No. 8 contender, is a close friend and a training partner of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. A former English and Commonwealth featherweight champion, Lowe has won seven consecutive bouts, including a one-sided decision over Alberto Guevara in February 2020 on the Fury-Deontay Wilder II undercard. He returned in March, notching a six-round decision over Ed Harrison.

In other streaming action from London:

Undefeated former WBC flyweight world champion Charlie Edwards (16-1, 6 KOs) will make his second bantamweight appearance in an eight-rounder against Spanish veteran Jacob Barreto (13-3, 5 KOs).
Junior middleweight prospect Jordan Reynolds (3-0, 1 KO) will face the durable Blaise Paka Mukia (2-3-1) in a six-rounder. Mukia has never been stopped as a professional.
Welterweight upstart Elliot Whale (4-0, 1 KO) will fight Miroslav Serban (13-7, 7 KOs) in a six-rounder, while junior welterweight puncher Shiloh Defreitas (1-0, 1 KO) returns in a four-rounder against 17-fight veteran Dario Borosa.
Two-time British national amateur champion Arnold Obodai will make his professional debut in a four-round cruiserweight battle against an opponent to be named.

MTK Fight Night returns to York Hall with huge card on December 3

Danny Dignum, Isaac Lowe and Charlie Edwards are among those that will be involved on a massive card when #MTKFightNight heads back to York Hall in London on Friday 3 December.

The action-packed bill will be broadcast in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank, and worldwide on IFL TV, with a number of big fights set to take place.

Undefeated Dignum (13-0-1, 7 KOs) makes his highly-anticipated return, when the world-ranked star squares off with dangerous Argentinian Lucas Brian Ariel Bastida (17-1-1, 9 KOs) for the vacant WBA International middleweight title.

Fellow unbeaten fighter Lowe (21-0-3, 6 KOs) has the biggest test of his career so far when he meets Luis Alberto Lopez (23-2, 12 KOs) in a final eliminator for the IBF featherweight title, while former world champion Charlie Edwards (16-1, 6 KOs) faces Jacob Barreto (13-3, 5 KOs).

The card will also feature a number of exciting rising stars, as Jordan Reynolds (3-0, 1 KO), Shiloh Defreitas (1-0, 1 KO), Carl Fail (3-0, 2 KOs), Elliot Whale (4-0, 1 KO) and Joe Giles (1-0) all return, plus there are professional debuts for Nina Hughes and Arnold Obodai.

MTK Global Promoter Lee Eaton said: “We had an event to remember when we were at York Hall last month, and it’s going to be even bigger and better when we return with a stacked show on December 3.

“It’s great to have Danny Dignum back after his fight with Andrey Sirotkin last time out, and he’s jumping straight back in at the deep end with a tough battle against Lucas Brian Ariel Bastida for the vacant WBA International middleweight title.

“Isaac Lowe looks to continue his quest towards a world title when he has a final eliminator against Luis Alberto Lopez, plus we’re excited to have Charlie Edwards competing in his first fight in over a year.

“With the likes of Jordan Reynolds, Shiloh Defreitas, Carl Fail, Elliot Whale, Joe Giles, Nina Hughes and Arnold Obodai all on the card too, it is certain to be a special night inside York Hall.”

Gavin Gwynne Upsets Sean McComb & Fight Card Results From England

Gavin Gwynne caused an upset win as he defeated Sean McComb to win the vacant Commonwealth lightweight title on a huge #MTKFightNight.

It had been a terrific fight between the two men, with Gwynne picking up a seventh round stoppage victory to claim the belt at the University of Bolton Stadium.

In the two other title fights during the evening, Samuel Antwi stopped Darren Tetley in round six to win the vacant English welterweight title, while Danny Carr beat Dean Dodge on points to retain his Southern Area super-featherweight title.

Vacant Commonwealth lightweight title

Gavin Gwynne became the new Commonwealth lightweight champion after he picked up a seventh round stoppage win against Sean McComb.

Both men had success throughout the fight, and each of them had to deal with cuts, with McComb suffering from one over his eyebrow, while an accidental elbow opened a bad cut on the back of Gwynne’s head.

It was a ferocious pace, which saw both men land huge shots, but in the end it was Gwynne who earned the win against the brave McComb, coming out on top in the seventh round to claim the vacant belt.

Gwynne said: “I’m speechless and I don’t know what to say. I put so much into this camp. Nobody was going to beat me, no world class fighter was going to stop me.

“We know Sean is a class amateur and I couldn’t outbox him. I had to take it to him, I started going to work and putting my shots together. Fair play to him he stayed on his feet but we got the win, and I can’t put into words how much it means.

“I’ve had big fights but it was the first time that Sean had really stepped up, so I knew this was going to be tough for him. This will be my boy’s belt now!”

SAMUEL ANTWI bt DARREN TETLEY TKO6

Vacant English welterweight title

Samuel Antwi picked up a big win as he defeated Darren Tetley via sixth round stoppage to win the vacant English welterweight title.

It was a fast start from Antwi, dropping Tetley in round one thanks to a vicious shot to the body. Tetley was able to recover and come back with some shots of his own, but Antwi remained in the driving seat.

Another body shot dropped Tetley in round six, and while he was able to get back to his feet, a big shot followed by Antwi, forcing the referee to jump in, with opinions split as to whether it was an early stoppage or the correct decision.

Antwi said: “He was a game opponent. I knew it would be tricky but I found the shot I was looking for, stuck to the game plan and then we got him out of there.

“I didn’t want to rush the work as I thought I may make more mistakes. I landed some good shots, took my time and was patient with it. We got there in the end and now this is my foot in the door of a very busy welterweight scene.

“It’s been a year out for me and this is my first fight back. We got the ring rust out the way, now I’m warmed up and ready to go.”

DANNY CARR bt DEAN DODGE PTS10 (97-93)

Southern Area super-featherweight title

Danny Carr retained his Southern Area super-featherweight title following a brilliant points win over fellow unbeaten fighter Dean Dodge.

There had been some words exchanged between the two men in the build up to the fight, and the fireworks continued in the ring as both fighters gave it their all.

The fight went the distance after a tremendous battle, but it was Carr who kept hold of his belt and his undefeated record, with the referee scoring it 97-93 in his favour, in a fight that also served as an eliminator for the English title.

Carr said: “It’s been a while without a fight, and so I had to put a lot of hard work in the gym and it has paid off. There was a bit of to and fro with Dodge in the build up, but in the ring I did what I needed to do.

“I was always confident of getting the job done, and now that the momentum is out the way I want to keep fighting. I want the English title next, and hopefully I can get that soon.”

PIERCE O’LEARY bt IRVIN MAGNO PTS6 (59-55)

Dublin talent Pierce O’Leary showed yet again why he is regarded as one of the best up and coming talents thanks to a dominant points victory over Irvin Magno.

O’Leary landed some massive shots throughout the fight, with the most powerful of which coming in round three when he rocked Magno and had him in trouble up against the ropes.

Magno was able to recover and see out the fight, but it was a sensational display from O’Leary as the referee scored it 59-55 and he extended his unbeaten record to 6-0.

O’Leary said: “I’ve been in the gym constantly and all of the hard work is paying off. I’ve been training since November and I just want to keep the momentum going.

“I’ve always had the power and I knew the professional game was going to suit me, but I’ve also been slowing myself down, pacing myself and looking for the right shot at the right time. I’m doing really well my trainer Al Smith.

“I hurt Magno a few times but he served so credit to him as he was very tough. Hopefully I can be back out soon enough and just keep progressing.”

PADDY DONOVAN bt SIAR OZGUL RTD4

Limerick star Paddy Donovan made it another quick night of work as he caused the very brave Siar Ozgul to be pulled out after four rounds of their battle.

Donovan had failed to stop his opponent in just two of his five fights up to that point, and he showed exactly why, with his huge knockout power on display.

Ozgul gave it his all, but he was just overpowered, with his corner pulling him out after four rounds to hand Donovan a pleasing win.

Donovan said: “Training was tough. It hasn’t been easy with this lockdown due to the restrictions going on, so I did a lot of training with my dad and wasn’t with Andy Lee much, but once these restrictions are lifted me and Andy will be back together training hard.

“Ozgul brought a big challenge, but my skill and brain overcame that challenge well. My hand is a bit sore so if not for that I would have probably gone for the knockout a bit earlier, but it was good to get him out of there.

“The plan now is to just keep working hard and improving. I want to try and get to 10-0 by the end of the year and then challenge for a title.”

MARK MCKEOWN bt BRAD DAWS TKO2

Scottish sensation Mark McKeown picked up the biggest win of his career, earning a second round stoppage win against fellow unbeaten fighter Brad Daws.

It didn’t take McKeown long to make an impact, landing a huge shot that sent Daws to the canvas at the start of the second round.

The Nottingham man managed to get back to his feet, but McKeown jumped straight back on him, knocking him down again and prompting the referee to just in and wave off the contest.

McKeown said: “In the first round I got my jab going and was a bit looser, then in the second round as soon as I let the shot go that I’ve been working on we got the job done.

“These are the fights that I want. I don’t want to be 15 fights in having not been tested, and thankfully we’re doing it where I have been in there with opponents that are coming to win.

“I love training, and a few days after a fight I’m already back in the gym trying to improve. I did some sparring with Ricky Burns so he was helping me out with this fight, so I’m thankful for him too.”

ELLIOT WHALE bt JAMIE STEWART PTS6 (59-55)

Elliot Whale put on a dazzling display by defeating previously undefeated Jamie Stewart on points after six rounds.

Stewart had recently beaten Michael Hennessy Jr before following that up with a draw against Florian Marku, but Whale wasn’t deterred, and was in control for large portions of the fight.

In the end it turned out to be a convincing and mature performance from Whale, with the referee scoring it 59-55 to the 23-year-old, who moved to 4-0 in the process.

MOHAMMED SAMEER bt KEARON THOMAS PTS4 (40-36)

Rising star Mohammed Sameer made it 2-0 in his professional career thanks to a dominant points win against Kearon Thomas.

Sameer dictated the pace throughout the fight, winning all four rounds on the referee’s card to return in style after 14 months outside of the ring.
