Mexican Erik “Terrible” Morales, defended his WBC featherweight championship, defeating South Korean In-Jin Chi, by unanimous decision in 12 rounds. The fight took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.  The Referee was Jose Cobian. The Judges were Lou Filippo, James Jen Kin and Daniel Van de Wielle.  On the undercard, Roy Jones, defeated Julio César Gonzalez on points, retaining his WBC Lt. heavyweight championship.
