341lb Jarrell Miller returns with win & Ivan Dychko victorious in Argentina
Jarrell Miller vs. Ariel Bracamonte
Casino de Buenos Aires, in Argentina – 23 June 2022
Heavyweight Jarrell Miller returned to the ring after four years of inactivity and won by unanimous decision over Ariel Bracamonte.
The American was given 97-92 x3 in a bout in which he had to push himself and found a brave opponent who stood toe-to-toe with him.
Miller worked backwards with his right hand as his main weapon against an insistent Bracamonte and was able to take advantage as the rounds went by in a fight full of action and very entertaining for the fans.
In the end he managed to return to boxing and do it with a victory to maintain his undefeated record in 25 fights, of which he has won 24, with one draw and 20 knockouts.
Ivan Dychko comfortably saw off the challenge of Kevin Espindola in Argentina on Thursday night to extend his unbeaten start to life as a professional.
The giant Kazak won the 10 round contest in Buenos Aires on points, awarded victory by the judges with scores of 100-90 and 99-91 (x2).
Dychko, a two-time Olympic bronze medallist, was boxing for the first time since December and says he is now targeting “big fights” with the world’s leading heavyweight fighters.
A former sparring partner of Tyson Fury, Dychko is now 12-0 (11KOs) as a professional.
The 6’9″ contender signed a co-promotional deal with Probellum and Bulldog Boxing Promotions in early 2022, and the fighter is managed by Elvis Crespo.
