At Madison Square Garden (the third of fourth so far) “Baby Face” Jimmy McLarnin and Tony Canzoneri collided. Northern Ireland born Jimmy won the fight by unanimous decision in a 10 round bout. McLarnin, 134 pounds, won 7 rounds while Canzoneri, 135 pounds, won 2 rounds and drew in one. The Referee of the fight was Bill Cavanaugh.
