Milton McCrory vs. Colin Jones

Dunes Hotel of Las Vegas, USA – August 13th, 1983

Milton McCrory, from the US and better known as “Iceman”, conquered the vacant WBC welterweight belt after defeating Welshman Colin Jones by UD in 12 rounds, but not before weathering a torrid ninth round. The fight took place at the Dunes Hotel of Las Vegas. The Referee was Isaac Herrera. The Judges were Ray Solis, Anselmo Escobedo and Angel Tovar.
