Rising star Bilal Fawaz will make a speedy return to the ring after he was added to the Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall card in Scotland this weekend.
The event takes place at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Saturday and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, as undisputed champion Taylor defends his WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF titles against undefeated Catterall.
Fawaz (1-0, 1 KO) has now been added to the undercard, fresh from his extremely impressive third round stoppage win over Vladimir Fleischhauer in his professional debut at York Hall earlier this month.
It has already been an incredible story for Fawaz, who is finally now able to box professionally after a journey which saw him illegally trafficked to the UK as a teenager, before then battling with the home office for over a decade to earn the right to stay in the country.
Fawaz replaces Craig MacIntyre on the card, who has unfortunately had to withdraw after he suffered an injury.
