Murodjon Akhmadaliev Defeats Ryosuke Iwasa & Results From Uzbekistan | Boxen247.com

Humo Arena in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Murodjon Akhmadaliev (8-0, 6 KOs) W TKO 5 Ryosuke Iwasa (23-3, 17 KOs)

(WBA/IBF Super Bantamweight Titles)

Fight Notes: In a systematic breakdown with Akhmadaliev turning up the heat in round 5, Iwasa was taking many punches with quite a few being taken on the arms and body. The referee eventually stopped the fight in what was widely regarded as a premature stoppage as Iwasa was durable, a former world champion and in a world title fight. Time of the stoppage was 1:30 of round 5.

Shakhram Giyasov (11-0, 9 KOs) W KO 3 Patricio Lopez Moreno (28-5, 20 KOs)

(WBA International Supper Middleweight Title)

Fight Notes: Moreno was bleeding from a cut on the hairline from round 1. He was then down in round 2 then again in round 3 for the count. Time of the count out stoppage was 2:21 of the 3rd round.

Israil Madrimov (7-0, 5 KOs) W PTS UD 10 Emmany Kalombo (14-1, 14 KOs)

(WBA Intercontinental Super Welterweight Title)

Fight Notes: Kalombo was down in round 8. The scores were unanimous 199-89, 99-90, 98-92 all in favour for a Madrimov points victory over 10 rounds. It was a slow burner with both fighters wary of each others power that never caught fire.

Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov (1-0, 1 KO) W KO 1 Tasha Mjuaji (17-8-2, 5 KOs)

(Super Bantamweight)

Fight Notes: Mjuaji was knocked down twice and was down via a slip once in round 1. Time of the count out stoppage was 2:24 of the 1st round.

Bakhodir Jalovov (8-0, 8 KOs) W TKO 2 Kristaps Zutis (7-2-2, 7 KOs)

(Heavyweight)

Fight Notes: Zutis was down two times in round 2. The referee stopped the bout at 1:16 of the 2nd round. Bout was scheduled for 6 rounds. Zutis held a 2019 win over the heavily faded Danny Williams. Jalovov remained unbeaten with this win, keeping his 100% record and 100% KO ratio (8 of 8).

Hasanboy Dusmatov (3-0, 3 KOs) W TKO 2 Mushin Kizota (11-3, 5 KOs)

(WBA International Light Flyweight Title)
