On November 28th, Roy Jones Jr. (66-9, 47 KO’s) takes on Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KO’s) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in an eight-round exhibition PPV match.

“I thought I was done. When I got the call from my team saying ‘Mike Tyson wants to fight you’ — that’s bucket-list material,” Jones said. “Everywhere I go in life, people ask me ‘Hey, did you ever fight Mike Tyson?’ Now I don’t have to say ‘No’ no more. I’m so glad to get this opportunity because now I can say, ‘Yes, I did. I sure did.’ And guess what? Tune in on the 28th, and you’ll see how it goes ” – Jones explained.

“Going into the ring with one of the most dangerous men to ever grace the boxing ring. One of the hardest punchers in heavyweight history, the youngest heavyweight champion of all time. Are you going to not prepare? Are you crazy? You should prepare just as hard as the last time you went in the ring,” he added.

“I think he looks awesome. He looks very good. To see Mike be able to hit the pads and the body bag the way he’s doing it, it’s phenomenal. It’s crazy. But we’re freaks. That’s why this is such a big thing. We’re two of the most explosive guys to ever touch a boxing ring. At 54, I want to watch him beat the mitts and bag more than any guy right now because it’s so exciting. … He inspires me by how hard he’s preparing to get back in the ring.”

It is not just a boxing event but an event with live music from some of the biggest names in the business.

“The connection between boxing and music is undeniable,” said Bobby Sarnevesht, executive chairman of Triller explained. “As a global language, music unites cultures, and we knew this historical moment needed to include some of the biggest names in the industry. Unparalleled to any other entertainment platform in the space, Triller is determined to give fans a night they will never forget.”

Al Bernstein (Hall of Fame broadcaster) will provide coverage with Michael Buffer and his iconic line of “Let’s Get Ready To Rumble” for the Tyson vs Jones Jr. main event. Barrie Egget will introduce the fighters for the undercard.

“It’s surreal that I’m actually given the opportunity to witness these two living legends compete ringside,” said Israel Adesanya who will be working alongside Sugar Ray Leonard as fight annalists. “I grew up watching these two boxing icons in the ring and am honored to be on the sidelines commenting on one of the greatest comeback fights of all time.”

“I’ve never seen a night with so many iconic names on the program. This matchup is something I thought I’d only see in my dreams, but here we are,” said Leonard.

Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Ne-Yo will perform the National Anthem. Also performing on the bill will be Da Baby, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa and YG will each have multi-song performances.

“Opening for a fight of this magnitude is an honor and I can’t wait to witness one of the most noteworthy nights of the decade. I may be performing, but I am a fan at the end of the day and I look forward to witnessing this once in a lifetime lineup,” says Ne-Yo.

“This event is going to go down in history, no doubt! I’m grateful to be a part of it and share the arena with two living legends. I’m stoked to perform and give the fans something they can rock to,” said Lil Wayne.

“It’s truly a moment,” French Montana added. “I’m honored and can’t wait to see Tyson and Jones fight.”
