Rungvisai vs. Sithmorseng

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (50-5-1, 43 KOs), the former Two-time WBC Super Flyweight World Champion and former The Ring Champion, stopped Kwanthai Sithmorseng, the former WBA Minimumweight World Champion, in 3 rounds at Workpoint Stadium, Thailand.

Sor Rungvisai dominated Sithmorseng from the first round before dropping him in the third. Sithmorseng refused to continue to the fourth round.

Sor Rungvisai, the mandatory challenger of WBC Super Flyweight World title, will be in line to fight the Juan Francisco Estrada later this year.

Thai Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (49-5-1, 42 KOs), two-time WBC super flyweight champion, will return to the ring Friday, March 12 (local March 13), at the Workpoint Studio in Bang Phun, Thailand.

Srisaket fights former champion Kwanthai Sithmorseng (50-7-1, 27 KOs) in a match that will be the main event of the WP Boxing series, the leading boxing program in Southeast Asia and will be broadcast live on DAZN.

Rungvisai currently ranks first in the WBC super flyweight world rankings and is the mandatory world title challenger, so if he comes out with his hand up from this important commitment, he will face the winner of the bout between Juan Francisco Estrada and Román “Chocolatito” González.

Rungvisai currently ranked number one by the WBC in its super flyweight world rankings, is mandatory world title challenger. So, if he emerges with his hand held high from this important commitment, he faces the winner of the WBC match between Juan Francisco Estrada and Roman “Chocolatito” González.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (49-5-1, 42 KOs), the former two-time WBC World Champion and Lineal Super-Flyweight World Champion from Thailand, is set to get back into the ring on March 13 (in Thailand) against former World Champion and current Thai Super-Flyweight champion – Kwanthai Sithmorseng [aka Ekkawit Songnui] (50-7-1, 27 KOs). The fight will be the main event of the WP Boxing series, the leading boxing program in Southeast Asia. The show will be live on DAZN globally (excluding Thailand) on March 12 in the US, 2021, 9.30 pm ET/ 6.30 pm PT.

Rungvisai is currently ranked first in the WBC’s Super-Flyweight world rating and has already been named a mandatory challenger for the WBC World Title. In December last year, the WBC officially ordered the winner of the unification bout between Juan Francisco Estrada and “Chocolatito” Roman Gonzalez to defend his WBC World Title against Rungivisai next within August or September this year. In the meantime, Rungvisai will have to win this upcoming fight against Kwanthai Sithmorseng to maintain his opportunity to challenge the World Titles from the winner of Estrada vs Chocolatito.
