Maxi Hughes retained his IBO lightweight title as he defeated Ryan Walsh at the First Direct Arena on Saturday.
The two fighters met in Leeds, on the undercard of the IBF featherweight title fight between Kiko Martinez and Josh Warrington, live on DAZN.
Hughes (25-5-2, 5 KOs) was dominant throughout the majority of the fight, and while Walsh (27-4-2, 12 KOs) refused to give in and gave absolutely everything, there was only one winner at the conclusion of the fight.
After 12 rounds of action, the judges scored the fight 120-108, 119-109 and 118-110, with Hughes coming out on top and keeping hold of his belt.
It means it is six straight wins for Hughes, having also claimed wins over the likes of Jovanni Straffron, Paul Hyland Jr, Viktor Kotochigov and Jono Carroll.
