Tonight at Centre Gervais Arena in Shawnigan, Quebec, Canada, undefeated knockout artist Mary Spencer goes after her first world title when she takes on veteran former world champion Femke Hermans for the IBO Super Welterweight world title.

Spencer is managed by Split-T Management under Brian Cohen.

The fight can be seen live on ESPN+ at 7 PM ET.

Spencer of Montreal has accumulated an impressive record that reads 7-0 with five knockouts.

In Spencer’s last bout, she won the WBA International and WBC Silver Super Welterweight titles with an emphatic first-round destruction of former world title challenger Cynthia Lozano (9-1) on September 9th in Montreal.

Hermans of Belgium is 13-4 with five knockouts. Hermans is a former Belgium and WBF International champion. Hermans won the WBO Super Middleweight title on May 12, 2018 with a 10-round unanimous decision over Nikki Adler (16-1). Her only losses have come in world title bouts.

At Thursday’s weigh-in both fighters came in at a ready 152.8 lbs.

Split-T Management fighters will dominate the boxing world on Saturday as former undisputed lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez takes on Sandor Martin in a WBC Elimination bout at Madison Square Garden. Earlier in the day, IBF Bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges makes the first defense of her title when she takes on Shannon O’Connell. If that wasn’t enough, 2020 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson will kick off the festivities at Madison Square Garden when he battles Mike Ohan Jr. in a eight-round junior middleweight bout.

Lopez will be looking to take big a step towards becoming a two-division world champion when he takes on the upset-specialist Martin. The bout will headline in what has become Lopez’ annual fight night at the Garden that follows the Heisman Trophy presentation on ESPN.

Lopez of Las Vegas by way of Brooklyn is 17-1 with 13 knockouts. The 25 year-old is one of the popular and charismatic pugilists in the sport. He has become a staple fighting at The Garden on Heisman night he stopped Mason Menard in the opening round in 2018, and In 2019, Lopez knocked out Richard Commey in two rounds to win the IBF Lightweight title.

On October 17, 2020, Lopez won a 12-round unanimous decision over Vasiliy Lomachenko to capture the undisputed Lightweight title. Lopez made his super lightweight debut on August 13th by stopping Pedro Camoa in seven rounds in Las Vegas.

Martin of Barcelona, Spain has a very impressive mark of 40-2 with 13 knockouts. Martin has impressive wins over Daniel Rosilla Colaso (25-4-2), Ignacio Mendoza (38-8-2), Sanuele Esposito (19-2), Steve Jamoye (19-1-1), Valentyn Golovko (22-1), Mauro Godoy (30-3-1), Joe Hughes (17-4-1) and Kay Prospere (14-1-1).

On October 16, 2021, Martin shocked former four-division world champion Mikey Garcia by winning a 10-round majority decision,

In his last bout, Martin won a 10-round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Jose Felix on April 1st in Barcelona, Spain.

At Friday’s weigh-in, Lopez weighed 139.2 lbs. Martin was 139.8 lbs.

In Leeds, England, Bridges and O’Connell meet in a fight between Australian bantamweights.

Bridges of New South Wales, Australia is 8-1 with three knockouts. The 36 year-old won the IBF Bantamweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Maria Cecilia Roman on March 26th in Leeds.

O’Connell, 39, of Queensland, Australia is 23-6-1 with 11 knockouts. She has wins over Nareele Leahy (1-0). Gabisile Tshabalala (8-0-1), Edina Kiss (10-1), Bianca Elmie (3-0), Kylie Fulmer (7-0), Cherneka Johnson (13-0), Taylah Robinson (3-0) and her last bout when she stropped Sarah Higginson in the opening round on June 29th in Queensland.

Bridges was 117.75 lbs, while O’Connell was 117.35 lbs at Friday’s weigh-in.

Bridges is promoted by Matchroom Boxing.

Saturday he takes on Ohan of Holbrook, Massachusetts. Ohan is 16-1 with nine knockouts. He has a signature win over undefeated Ryan Dibartolomeo. Ohan has won seven straight, which includes his last outing that took place on August 6th when he defeated Jonathan Ariel Sosa

Johnson weighed 141 lbs. Ohan was 141.6 lbs.

This past Friday night in Plant City, Florida, super welterweight Marques Valle remained undefeated with a disqualification win over Luis Midyael Sanchez in the second round of their scheduled six-round bout.

Valle is managed by Split-T Management.

Valle was dominant in the over the five-plus minute fight, to the point where Sanchez was constantly holding. Sanchez was deducted two points in the second round for his hugging. He did not get the message as he continued to grab Valle, and finally the referee saw enough and pulled the plug on the fight at 2:22.

Valle, who had his perfect knockout record stopped, is now 7-0 with six knockouts.

The 23 year-old native of Wesley Chapel, Florida is promoted by Pro Box Promotions.

Last Tuesday night at The Edison Ballroom in New York, Stephan Shaw remained undefeated with an emphatic eight-round unanimous decision over Rydell Booker in a heavyweight bout.

Shaw is managed by Split-T Management.

Shaw dominated the action boxed very well and showed why he is one of the top American heavyweight prospects as he busted up Booker with good jabs and right hands that Booker’s nose was bleeding badly in the seventh round.

Shaw, 234.4 lbs of Saint Louis, MO won by scores of 80-72 on all cards and is now 18-0. Booker. 256.6 lbs of Detroit, MI is 26-7-1.

Seven Split-T Management fighters had their hand raised in fights throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

In Puerto Rico, Willito Ortiz stopped Bryan Rodriguez in the opening round of their super lightweight bout. Ortiz landed some hard shots that put Rodriguez to the canvas. Rodriguez had enough as he sat on his knee and took the full count of 10 at 2;05.

Ortiz of Bayamon, Puerto Rico is 1-0 with one knockout.

Saturday in San Diego, Asa Stevens remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous over Mychaquel Shields in a super bantamweight bout.

Stevens of Waianae, Hawaii won by scores of 40-35 on all cards, and is now 3-0. Shields was making his pro debut.

Stevens is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

Saturday in New York, two Split-T prospects remained undefeated with impressive victories.

Haven Brady Jr. moved up to eight-rounds and won a unanimous decision over Eric Mondragon in a junior lightweight contest.

Brady of Albany, Georgia won by tallies of 79-73 twice and 8-74 to raise his record to 8-0. Mondragon of Maywood, California is 8-1-1,

On the same card at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden and streamed on ESPN+, 2021 United States Olympian, Tiger Johnson pitched a shutout and won a six-round unanimous decision over Esteban Garcia in a junior welterweight bout,

Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 6-0. Garcia of Brawley, California is 15-2.

In Philadelphia, heavyweight Sonny Conto remained undefeated with a second round stoppage in a scheduled six-round main event at the 2300 Arena.

James Bryant shot right out of his corner, and went after Conto. The Philadelphia native engaged in a back and forth brawl and dropped Bryant with a hard left hand just before the bell sounded to end the opening frame. In round two, Conto continued to pound away until Bryant was weary, and the fight was stopped by the corner at 2:13.

Conto of Philadelphia is now 11-0 with nine knockouts. Bryant of Pittsburgh is 6-2.

Brady, Johnson and Conto are promoted by Top Rank.

In Milwaukee, two more Split-T fighters got victories on a card at The Tripoli Shrine Center.

Rolando Vargas of Milwaukee moved to 8-1 with a split decision win over Charles Garner (6-2) in a junior welterweight bout.

Javier Zamarron made an explosive pro debut with an opening round knockout of Ahmond Rayshaun Oates in a featherweight bout.

Zamarron of Sheboygan, Wisconsin dropped Oates three times before the fight was finally halted in the opening frame.

Split-T Management fighters David Navarro and Joseph Hicks Jr. scored second round stoppage victories on Friday night at Ballys Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Their fights were part of the non-televised undercard of a SHOBOX: The New Generation card

Navarro of Los Angeles stopped Luis Domingo Hernandez in round two of their six-round super featherweight bout.

The 22 year-old Navarro hurt Hernandez in the second frame after a hard flurry of punches. Navarro was able to finish the fight at 1:02 to raise his record to 5-1 with three knockouts. Hernandez falls to 14-7-1.

Hicks took out Luis Solis also in round two of their six-round middleweight bout.

Hicks of Grand Rapids, Michigan landed a hard combination that sent Solis to the deck, and the fight was stopped at 2:52 of round three. Hicks kept his perfect mark intact as he is now 3-0 with three knockouts.

Hicks says his brief encounter with Solis was a learning experience. “I learned to try to get warmer in the dressing room before I come out. I didn’t feel warm in the first round, but besides that I’m ready for whatever comes next.”

Hicks was a stellar amateur where he was elected Captain of Team USA Boxing, National Golden Gloves Champion 2019. Three-time Eastern Elite Qualifier Champion (2017, 2018, 2019) & a five-time Michigan Golden Gloves Champion (2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019).

Solis is 25-15-4.

Thursday night at Sony Hall in New York City, Ivan Golub stopped Wesley Tucker at the end of round four of a scheduled 10-round junior middleweight bout.

In round two, Tucker landed a left hook that made Golub’s glove touch the canvas for a knockdown. In round four, Golub had a dominant round as he landed several flurries of hard punches that rocked Tucker. In between rounds the fight was halted in the comer.

Golub, 150.6 lbs of Brooklyn, NY via Ukraine is 21-1 with 16 knockouts. Tucker, 152 lbs of Toledo, OH is 15-4.

Friday night in Niagara Falls, New York, Trinidad Vargas remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Jenn Gonzalez in a bantamweight bout.

Scores were 39-35 on all cards for Vargas, who is no 2-0. Gonzalez of Nicaragua is 9-14-1.

Vargas, 19 years-old of Dallas, Texas, had an incredible amateur resume that culminated with a record of 198-12 and won 13 National Championships.

That amateur career saw him become a 6x Junior Golden Gloves National Champion, Silver Gloves National Champion; 2017 Junior Open Champion; 2017 Western Regional Champion; 2017 Eastern Regional Champion; 2018 USA Junior Boxer of the Year; 2018 Junior Olympics Champion for which he won the Male Boxer of the Tournament; 2018 Eastern Regional Champion and Western Regional Champion.

Split-T Management’s Andreas Katzourakis remained undefeated after stopping Cameron Krael after round four of their eight-round middleweight bout at the ULH Arena in Houston.

Katzourakis dominated the action as he showed very solid boxing skills that set up some hard body punches. Katzourakis started turning up the heat in round five as he had Krael on the ropes for much of the round, and opened up a cut over Krael’s right eye.

The durable Krael tried to continue into round five, but the fight was officially stopped 10 seconds into round six.

With the win, Katzourakis of Los Angeles via Athens, Greece is now 8-0 with six knockouts. Krael of Las Vegas was stopped for just the third time in 45 bouts.

Split-T Management is excited to announce the signing of Puerto Rican amateur star Willito Ortiz. Ortiz, 19-years old of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, has already built a major name for himself across the island despite only picking up the sport five years ago. A rangy southpaw with ferocious power, Ortiz has dominated the opposition since stepping onto the amateur circuit – compiling a total record of 48-4 and winning four National Championships in a row (2019-2022).

As a member of Team Puerto Rico, Ortiz amassed multiple international accolades including a Gold Medal at the 2019 Cinturon de Oro Tournament in Ecuador, a Bronze Medal at the 2021 Pan-Am Games in Colombia, and a Silver Medal at the 2022 Copa Independencia Tournament in the Dominican Republic.

“I am thrilled and extremely proud of this signing,” said Split-T’s Ricardo Figueroa. “Willito Ortiz has all the makings of a super star! He’s a young, skilled, power punching southpaw and I truly believe that with hard work and dedication, he will one day be a World Champion.”

The signing of Willito Ortiz signifies a larger move by Split-T Management to expand its role in Puerto Rican boxing, led by the efforts of Figueroa.

Ortiz will make his professional debut on a significant stage at the 2022 World Boxing Organization Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The annual WBO Convention is one of the premiere events for top, young talent to showcase their abilities in front of the entire boxing industry. Miguel Cotto Promotions is in charge of promoting the WBO’s “Tournament of Champions” Boxing Show on which Ortiz will be making his debut on October 26th at the famed Pedrín Zorrilla Coliseum in San Juan.

Five members of the Split-T Management roster came home with big victories in as many bouts on Saturday.

At The Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota, four Split-T fighters had their hands raised on an ESPN+ streamed card.

Javier Martinez remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Chino Hill in a middleweight bout,

In round three, Martinez had a scrape around his right eye.

Martinez landed 115 of 242 punches. Hill was 70 of 368.

Martinez, 160.8 lbs of Milwaukee, WI won by scores of 60-54 and 59-55 twice and is now 7-0. Hill, 161 lbs of Davenport, IA is 7-1-1.

Haven Brady Jr. remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Aaron Echeveste in a featherweight bout.

Brady, 127.8 lbs of Augusta, GA won by scores of 60-53 and 60-54 twice and is now 7-0. Echeveste, 126.8 lbs of Leon, MEX is 6-8.

Antonio Mireles stopped Dennys Reyes in round two of their four-round heavyweight fight.

In round two, Mirleles dropped Reyes with a body shot that was followed by a left to the head. Mirleles finished off the fight by dropping Reyes with a right hand, and the fight was stopped at 2:19.

Mireles, 269.2 lbs of Des Moines, IA is 4-0 with four knockouts. Reyes, 228.6 lbs of Finley, MN is 3-3.

Dante Benjamin stopped Corey Thompson in round one of a scheduled four-round light heavyweight bout featuring undefeated fighters.

Benjamin jumped all over Thompson in the opening seconds, cutting him in the forehead and then dropping him with a hard combination. Benjamin then dropped Thompson with a vicious five-punch combination. Benjamin ended the fight by dropping Thompson with a hard right hand at 2:24.

Benjamin, 172.6 lbs of Cleveland, OH is 3-0 with two knockouts. Thompson, 174.8 lbs of Alexandria, MN is 4-1.

Martinez, Brady, Mireles and Benjamin are promoted by Top Rank

At The Caribe Royale In Orlando, Joseph Adorno took out Roberto Almazan in the second round of their six-round lightweight fight.

Adorno dominated the action and finished off Almazan at 2:59 of the second frame.

Adorno of Allentown, PA is now 16-1-2 with 14 knockouts. Almazan is 10-18.

Split-T Management is pleased to announce the signing of decorated amateur Javier Zamarron to a management contract.

Zamarron, 21 years-old of Milwaukee, Wisconsin will compete in the featherweight division.

“The Split-T team really became aware of Javier at the 2021 Golden Gloves where he was clearly one of the very best prospects. He’s a polished guy with power and intelligence, exactly what we are looking for in a young fighter,” said David McWater of Split-T Management

“I am happy to be part of the team. Split-T Management has a lot of good fighters who have been taken in the right direction and have achieved great things in boxing. Dave McWater has a lot of great connections that have facilitated their fighters forward. Signing with Split-T is the right move for me as I see my career going forward towards being a world champion.”

Zamarron began boxing at the age of eight-years old, when a friend of his father informed Javier and his dad about the United Community Center in Milwaukee. The center has produced many professionals which includes Split-T middleweight prospect Javier Martinez.

Zamarron was a dominant amateur at the regional level that saw him become a six-time Wisconsin State champion, six-time Wisconsin Golden Gloves and six-time Wisconsin Junior Olympic champion.

When Zamarron moved up to the elite class of amateur boxing, the results continued as he won the 2021 United States championship, and was runner-up at 2022 National Golden Gloves.

About his fan-friendly style, Zamarron describes himself as being a boxer-puncher. “I can box all day if I want, but if it turns into a war, I can certainly bang. I consider myself to be a volume puncher who works in combinations.

The southpaw is trained by world-champion trainer Robert Garcia.

Zamarron’s family is from Jalisco, Mexico and he speaks fluent Spanish.

Away from boxing, Zamarron stays active by playing basketball and taking care of his Pitbull named Tarzan.

Roman of San Juan Argentina is 16-5-1. The 39 year-old is a longtime and distinguished champion as she has defended her eight times. An eleven year professional, Roman defeated Carolina Duer (19-3-1) to win the IBF title on August 4, 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Some of her bigger defenses came over Duer in a rematch, Julieta Cardozzo (12-3) and her last bout when she defeated Daniela Rivero on November 26th in San Juan, Argentina

2021 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson looks for win number-three without a loss when he takes on Sebastian Gabriel Chaves in a six-round welterweight contest.

Johnson, 23, had a highly decorated amateur career finishing with a record of 188-17, and saw him win a Gold Medal in the 2016 Youth World Championships; a Bronze Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games; a 2019 Last Chance Qualifier Championship; Four 2017 Elite National Championships; a 2016 Elite National Championship; a 2015 Youth National Championship; and a 2014 National Junior Olympic Championship.
Johnson made it to the quarterfinals of the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo before losing to the eventual Gold Medal winner, Cuban Roniel Iglesias.

In his last bout, Johnson won a four-round unanimous decision over Xavier Madrid on January 29th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Brady’s amateur career saw him go 65-10 with 30 knockouts, and won the 2018 Jr. Nationals. Brady won the 2019 Eastern Qualifiers and 2019 Jr. National PAL.

Brady has a win over Roberto Negrete (3-0) and in his last bout, Brady won a six-round unanimous decision over Diuhl Olguin on January 29th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Angel of Carolina is 8-2 with two knockouts. The 27 year-old Angel is coming off a loss to undefeated Jaywon Garrett on June 19, 2021 in Miami.

Light Heavyweight Dante Benjamin is primed to make his 2nd start when he takes on Kevin Johnson in a battle of undefeated fighters.

Benjamin, 19 years-old of Cleveland, Ohio amassed over 100 wins as an amateur, and was a seven-time national champion as he was a 2016 and 2017 Junior National Champion, 2017 Eastern Regional Champion, and a 2018 Youth National champion. He also took first place in the Emil Jechev International tournament in Botevgrad, Bulgaria.

In 2017, he was named the Under Armour Fighter of the Year.

Benjamin won his pro debut via opening round stoppage over Herman Rendon on January 29th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In Montreal, undefeated junior welterweight Mary Spencer will take on Beatriz Aguilar.

Spencer of Montreal, has a record of 3-0 with two knockouts. This will be Spencer’s fourth fight in seven months and she is coming off a unanimous decision over Milagros Diaz Perez on January 29th in Tijuana, Mexico.

Aguilar of Mexico is 7-6-1 with one knockout. Aguilar has wins over two undefeated opponents in Karla Ramos Zamora (2-0) and Estefina Zapiain (1-0). Aguilar is coming off a loss to former world champion Delfine Persoon on November 1, 2021 in Belgium

Spencer, who is managed by Brian Cohen of Empire Boxing, weighed 141 3/4 lbs. Aguilar was 141 1/4 lbs.

Split-T Management fighters came home with two wins in as many fights on Saturday night as junior welterweight John Bauza and junior lightweight Dalis Kaleiopu remained undefeated with wins in New York and Los Angeles respectively.

At The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, John Bauza remained undefeated with an eight-round unanimous decision over Tony Luis in a junior welterweight bout.

Bauza boxed well, and controlled the fight with his quicker hands and variety of punches.

Bauza landed 109 of 329 punches; Luis was 90 of 449.

Bauza, 140.2 lbs of Coamo, PR won by scores of 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74 and is now 17-0. Luis, 140.8 lbs of Cornwall, ONT, CAN is now 29-5.

The bout was televised live on ESPN.

Bauza is promoted by Top Rank.

At the Galen Center In Los Angeles, Dalis Kaleiopu stopped Manuel Lara in the fourth and final round of their lightweight bout.

In round one, Kaleiopu dropped Lara with a right to the head. Later in the round, Lara went down from a body shot.

In round four, it was a three-punch combination to the head that dropped Lara to his knees and the bout was stopped at 2:15.

Kaleiopu, 132.4 lbs of Waianae, HI. is 2-0 with two knockouts. Lara, 134.2 lbs of Celaya, MEX is 2-8.

Kaleiopu is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

Four members of the Split-T Management stable posted victories on Friday night.

Three of those victories came in Deadwood, South Dakota as Ardreal Holmes Jr. remained undefeated with a 10-round unanimous decision over Vernon Brown in a junior middleweight bout that headlined a SHOBOX: The New Generation card that was live on SHOWTIME.

Holmes used his 6’2″ frame to box very well and land some hard straight left hands on the gritty Brown. Holmes was able to win by scores of 98-92, 97-93 and 96-94 to raise his mark to 12-0.

“I was reborn tonight,” Holmes said. “This performance showed that I still have it in me. I hurt my left hand in the second round. I couldn’t punch how I wanted to. I was in a bunch of pain but I pulled through. Thinking about my family pushed me through the pain.”

Holmes said no matter how much Brown hurt him, he was going to push through the pain. “I was rusty. I believe I need another fight to get the rust off. My timing wasn’t there. I’ve been off for like 800 days, but this fight showed that I have a lot of heart. I want Paul Kroll next. He was talking a lot of junk against me. We have a history in the amateurs. He’s who I want.”

In the opening bout, Giovanni Marquez made a successful pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Nelson Morales in a welterweight bout.

Marquez displayed the boxing skills that propelled him to a National Golden Gloves title, as he boxed well and mixed some crisp power shots. Despite injuring his hand, Marquez looked like a seasoned veteran as was very composed in the ring.

Marquez of Houston, won by scores of 40-36 and 39-37 twice.

“I felt great,” said Marquez. “I hurt my left hand in the second round on a jab. I think I would have been able to stop him if I hadn’t hurt my hand.”

Added Giovanni: “It was a great experience. He was a tough, durable guy, but I feel like I handled everything, the cameras, all the attention pretty well. I started a little slow but after the first round I settled down and fought my fight. I felt fine without the headgear. We kept bumping heads, but he never hurt me. There was a lot of pressure on me, and I was a little nervous in the leadup to the fight, but once I got into the fight I relaxed and I felt comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience.”

In non-televised action, David Navarro won a six-round unanimous decision over Gavino Guaman in a featherweight bout.

Navarro is settling into the pro game as he dominated the action and took every round convincingly and won by scores of 60-54 on all cards.

With the win, the 22 year-old native of Los Angeles upped his record to 4-1.

In Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, LeAnna Cruz remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Anyela Lopez in a bantamweight fight.

Cruz featured solid right hands that landed flush on Lopez, which was a delight to the large hometown fan base that Cruz performed in front of.

Cruz, 113.7 lbs of Allentown, PA won by scores of 40-36 and 39-37 twice to go to 2-0. Lopez, 115.3 lbs of Tucson, AZ is 2-2.

Split-T Management fighters were impressive with four big victories over the weekend.

On Friday night, junior welterweight Rolando Vargas scored an explosive stoppage over Jerrell Hodge in Columbus, Ohio.

Vargas buckled Hodge with a big left hook. Vargas followed up with a booming right that put Hodge down and out and the fight was stopped.

With the win, Vargas, a Milwaukee native improves to 7-1 with seven knockouts.

Javier Martinez remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Donte Stubbs in a middleweight bout.

In round two, Stubbs began to bleed from his nose. In round three, Stubbs dropped Martinez with a straight right. But that was the only blemish for the 26 year-old Martinez as he used his superior boxing skills to repeatedly land solid punches throughout the contest.

Martinez, 161.8 lbs of Milwaukee, WI won by scores of 59-56 and 58-55 twice and is now 6-0. Stubbs, 163 lbs of Riverside, CA is 6-4.

6’9″ Antonio Mireles (pictured) remained perfect as he stopped previously undefeated Brandon Hughes in round two of their scheduled four-round heavyweight bout.

In round one, Mireles landed a perfect jab-straight left that sent Hughes down on his face. Moments later it was another straight left that put Hughes down just before the end of the round. In round two, Mireles landed a big left hand that hurt Hughes and the fight was stopped just as Hughes hit the canvas at 1:04.

Mireles, 259.4 lbs of Des Moines, IA is 3-0 with three knockouts. Hughes, 282.4 lbs of Phoenix, AZ is 2-1.

Diego Pacheco remained undefeated with a 2nd round stoppage over Genc Pllana in a scheduled eight-round super middleweight bout.

Pacheco, 170 lbs of Los Angeles is 14-0 with 11 knockouts. Pllana, 171 lbs of Hagerstown, MD is 9-4-1.

It was a perfect weekend for Split-T Management fighters as six members of the top management stable posted wins in as many outings.

On Thursday, Sonny Conto remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Mike Marshall in front of a capacity crowd at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia.

Conto dominated the fight as he was able to land hard shots to the head and body. He was very effective with his jab that eventually set up some nice straight rights and left hooks to the body. Marshall showed a good chin, but was never able to get any consistent offense of his own on-track.

Conto, 226.1 lbs of Philadelphia won by shutout margins of 60-54 on all cards, and is now 9-0. Marshall, 248.8 lbs of Danbury, CT is 6-3-1.

Conto is promoted by Top Rank.

On Friday night, Marques and Dominic Valle scored impressive stoppage victories in Plant City, Florida.

Marques Valle needed just 89 seconds to dispose of Robbie Rose in their scheduled six-round welterweight contest.

Valle of Wesley Chapel, Florida is now 4-0 with four knockouts. Rose of Richburg, South Carolina is 1-2.

Dominick Valle stopped Nelson Colon Torres in round three of a scheduled four-round super featherweight contest.

Valle raises his perfect record to 3-0 with three knockouts. Torres of Vayey, Puerto Rico is 4-7.

The Valle brothers are promoted by ProBox Promotions.

On Saturday night in Philadelphia, Ray Robinson shook off a two-and-a-half year layoff by stopping veteran Silverio Ortiz after round three of a scheduled six-round junior middleweight bout in front of a big crowd at the 2300 Arena.

The eight-bout card was promoted by RDR Promotions.

Robinson was very sharp with his punches as he continuously banged shots off the head of Ortiz. Robinson had a big round three as he had Ortiz in trouble several times. The corner of Ortiz had seen enough and bowed their charge out of the fight.

Robinson of Philadelphia is 25-3-2 with 13 knockouts. Ortiz of Mexico is 37-29.

In Atlanta, super middleweight, Money Powell IV stopped veteran Fidel Monterrosa Munoz in round two of their scheduled eight-round bout.

Powell dropped Munoz three-times in the opening round from body shots. Munoz also had a point deducted for spitting out his mouthpiece.

With the win, Powell is now 13-1 with eight knockouts. Munoz is 39-28-1.

In the Dominican Republic, Yan Santana moved to 3-0 with a 2nd round knockout over Juan Ysabel.

On the Heels of Sonny Conto’s unanimous decision on Thursday night in Philadelphia, six Split-T Management fighters will look to follow suit over the weekend throughout the United States and The Dominican Republic.

Friday night in Plant City, Florida, brothers Marques and Dominic Valle will look to stay undefeated as Marques takes on Robbie Rose in a six-round super welterweight fight, while Dominic battles Nelson Colon Torres in a four-round super featherweight fight.

Maques of Wesley Chapel, Florida is 3-0 with three knockouts. The 23 year-old, has a win over Leonidad Fowlkes (2-0) and is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Jimmy Rosario on August 7th.

Rose of Richburg, South Carolina is 1-1 and is coming off a win over Vincent Gigante on December 25, 2021 in Newark, New Jersey.

Dominic is 2-0 with two knockouts. At 21 years-old, the younger Valle took out Michael Gaxiola on August 7th in Plant City, Florida.

Torres of Cayey, Puerto Rico is 4-6 with three-knockouts.

The 36 year-old Robinson will be shaking off a two-and-a-half-year layoff as he is coming off of back-to-back draws with world title challenger Egidijust Kavaliauskas (21-0) and former British Olympian Josh Kelly (9-0). In both of those fights, most observers believe that Robinson should have had his hand raised in victory. Robinson has wins over Roberto Acevedo (2-0-1), Darnell Jiles Jr. (8-0-1), Former U.S. Olympian Terrance Cauthen (36-7-1), Ray Narh (26-2), Aslanbek Kozoev (25-0-1) and Sherzodbek Almjanov (22-2).

Ortiz of Merida, Mexico has a record of 37-28 with 18 knockouts. At 39 years-old, Ortiz is a 22 year veteran of the ring and has faced no less than nine world champions and a plethora of title challengers, contenders and prospects. Munoz of Barranquilla, Colombia is 39-27-1 with 31 knockouts. The 33 year-old Munoz has faced four world champions as well as many contenders and top prospects. Munoz is coming off a decision loss to undefeated Anthony Hines on October 29th in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Santana, 22 years-old of La Romana, Dominican Republic is 2-0 with two first-round stoppages, coming off an early win over Juan Nicasio Mercedes on December 21st in the Dominican Republic.

Ysabel is making his pro debut.

At the Caribe Royale In Orlando, Florida, lightweight Joseph Adorno will take on Iron Alvarez for the IBO USBO title.

Adorno, 22 years-old of Allentown, Pennsylvania is 14-0-2 with 12 knockouts, recently signed with GH3 Promotions, and has wins over Marcos Antonio Ocano (1-0), Kevin Cruz (8-0) and Damian Alejandro Sosa (9-2). Adorno is coming off a draw with undefeated Jamaine Ortiz on April 24, 2021 in Kissimmee, Florida.

Tonight, Split-T Management fighters will be featured prominently at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma as four fighters under the top boxing management’s banner will be in action.

At 10 PM ET on ESPN, 2020 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson (1-0, 1 KO) of Cleveland, Ohio will make his 2nd start when he takes on Xavier Madrid (3-0, 1 KO) in a four-round battle of undefeated welterweights.

Dawejko of Philadelphia is 21-9-4 with 12 knockouts. The 31 year-old is a former World Youth Amateur champion. The 13-year professional has victories over Ricardo Johnson (1-0), John Lennox (6-0), Derric Rossu (28-7), Mark Rideout (4-0-2), Enobong Umohette (9-2), Natu Visina (11-1), Demetrius Banks (9-1), and Kevin Nunez (15-0). Dawejko has also taken former world champion Charles Martin and former world title challenger Bryant Jennings. Dawejko is coming off a loss to undefeated Zhan Kossobutskiy on August 21st in Hamburg, Germany.

Shaw weighed 234.8 lbs; Dawejko was 258.6

Undefeated featherweight Haven Brady Jr. will take on veteran Diuhl Olguin in a six-round bout.

Brady of Albany, Georgia is 4-0 with three knockouts. The 20 year-old Brady has been a professional for two years.

Brady’s amateur career saw him go 65-10 with 30 knockouts, and won the 2018 Jr. Nationals. Brady won the 2019 Eastern Qualifiers and 2019 Jr. National PAL.

He is coming off a unanimous decision over previously undefeated Roberto Negrete (3-0) on October 23rd in Atlanta.

Olguin of Guadalajara, Mexico is 15-20-5 with 10 knockouts. The 33 year-old Olguin is a 14 year-professional who has victories over Horacio Garcia (32-2-1), Kevin Rivers Jr. (14-1) and Tenochtitlan Nava (7-1). Olguin is coming off a loss to Juan Antonio Lopez on November 5th.

Brady, who is promoted by Top Rank, weighed in at 127.8 lbs. Olguin was 127.4 lbs

Dante Benjamin will be making his professional debut against undefeated Herman Rendon in a four-round light heavyweight bout.

In 2017, he was named the Under Armour Fighter of the Year.

Rendon of Odessa, Texas is 2-0. Both of his victories are over undefeated foes as he opened his career with a win over James Land (2-0-1) In his most recent outing, Rendon won four-round unanimous decision over
Yhorhighness Rezzaq (2-0) in New Mexico

Benjamin, who is promoted by Top Rank, weighed 172.6 lbs. Rendon was 175.8

Split-T Management has signed highly acclaimed amateur and two-time National Golden Gloves Champion Abel Gonzalez to a management contract. Gonzalez most recently won the 2021 National Golden Gloves in the ultra competitive 178 lb. weight division, taking home the award for Most Outstanding Fighter of the Tournament (178-201+) in the process.

Gonzalez, of Hialeah, Florida, will make his professional debut at super middleweight. He is trained by his father, Ameth, a Guantanamo, Cuba native and lists the Cuban greats Teofilo Stevenson and Felix Savon as some of his biggest influences in the sport. Gonzalez is a boxer-puncher possessing thudding power and an excellent ring IQ.

“I am very excited to sign with Split-T Management. This is the moment that I have been waiting for. Under Split-T, I feel that I will be able to reach all of my goals and become a World Champion,” said Gonzalez.

“Abel is a very strong young man with a devastating right hand that he gets off quickly and an equally powerful left hook. We expect him to make a seamless transition to the pros and become a major force at 168 pounds and beyond,” said Brendan Segalas of Split-T Management.

Gonzalez, 24, compiled a total record of 65-8 and was a two-time National Golden Gloves Champion; four-time Florida Elite Golden Gloves Champion; three-time Florida PAL Champion and a 2013 Junior Golden Gloves Champion as an amateur. Gonzalez is ready to make his mark in the professional ranks with Split-T Management and his father/trainer firmly behind him.

Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of undefeated, power-punching lightweight prospect Luis Acosta.

Acosta, 25 years-old of Houston, Texas has a professional record of 12-0 with 11 knockouts.

“Signing with Split-T Management is an amazing feeling. I have been trying to get noticed for a long time, but nobody was paying attention to me. Fortunately I was able to link up with Brendan (Segalas) who took a look at me and brought me the attention of Mr. (David) McWater. We were able to meet with him at my family’s restaurant, Titas Tacos, and knew immediately that Split-T was the place for us,” Said Acosta

Acosta began boxing at the age of 16, following in the footsteps of his father, Jose, and uncle, Mario, who were both professional boxers. His father, who now trains Luis, was 2-2 as a professional, while his uncle was 1-0.

“When I was a young kid, I did not like going to the gym. Then I started watching some boxing videos, and nine months later, we were building a gym in our backyard!”

This passion led to an amateur career that saw Luis go 57-8 and winning both the Title and Ringside Tournaments.

Acosta is a come-forward fighter, who is aggressive without getting hit, and possesses tremendous physical strength.

“In 2022, all of the opportunities will come to me. I am fighting for my family and I want to impress anyone who watches me.”

In addition, Acosta is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology and has an entrepreneurial spirit honed by working many hours in his family’s restaurant, which is a local landmark in Humble, Texas.

“I would like to open up a gym – not just a boxing gym – but for everyone to get into shape,” said Acosta. “Also open up another restaurant.”

Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of 2021 Olympic Bronze Winner Oshae Jones to a managerial contract.

“We are very excited to add Oshae to our roster. She is one of the most decorated amateur boxers, and we feel she will be recognized as one of the top boxers in the world in a very short time,” said David McWater of Split-T Management.

“I am happy, and overwhelmed to sign with Split-T Management. I have known David McWater ever since I was in the amateurs, and I trust him like a godfather. I know he is the only one that can get me in the right direction to get me the best opportunities and eventually win a world championship,” said Jones.

Jones, 23 of Toledo, Ohio began boxing at the age of 12, spawning a magnificent amateur career that saw her amass a record of 60-9 whilst competing all over the world.

Oshae received the key to her hometown, and was honored with a parade upon coming home with her Olympic Bronze Medal.

“Being able to represent my country in the Olympics really hit home for me because when I came home and realized all of these little girls started to look up to me. When I was younger, I wanted a female role model. I became the person that I always wanted. To see these little girls yelling my name at the parade made me realize that I accomplished something big. I showed that you can dress up and show your feminine side, yet still be a world class athlete.”

She dominated and won many prestigious tournaments such as the 2020 Stramdja, 2020 Boxam International, 2017 Eastern Elite Qualifier, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Elite Nationals, as well as the 2016 Youth Open and 2014 National PAL.

Two of Oshae’s most significant victories came when she received the Gold Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games and finished first at the 2020 United States Olympic Trials.

She is the first female welterweight to represent the United States in the Olympics.

“It’s going to be a hard transition, but I can already feel and see myself maturing and perfecting the pro style.”

Undefeated heavyweight Sonny Conto will be back in action as he competes in the headlining bout at the inaugural fight card at the Live Casino Hotel Philadelphia in his hometown of Philadelphia.

Conto, who is managed by Split-T Management, will take on Joel Caudle in a bout scheduled for six-rounds.

Conto (7-0, 6 KOs) will be making his 5th start in Philadelphia, and is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Waldo Cortes on April 10th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. That was the 5th opening round stoppage for Conto.

Caudle of Fuquay-Varina Marina, North Carolina is 8-5-2 with five knockouts.

Caudle, 31 years-old is a six-year pro who has wins over Miree Coleman (5-1) and Kimdo Bethel Boykin (11-1-1) as well as a draw with then-undefeated Niall Kennedy (11-0). Conto will be the 5th consecutive undefeated opponent that has shared the ring with Conto.

Conto weighed 220.2 lbs. Caudle was 257.1

Split-T Management has signed 2021 National Golden Gloves champion Giovanni Marquez to a management deal.

Marquez, 20 years-old of Houston, Texas began boxing at the age of 12 as he is the son of former U.S. Olympian, world junior middleweight world champion and current broadcaster Raul Marquez.

“I started following Giovanni years ago and I always knew with his work ethic he would continue to improve, but I never imagined that he would develop so much, so quickly, as to be possibly the best amateur fighter in the USA in 2021. He was always relentless, well conditioned, and smart, and then he added power and greater balance! There are no ceilings for this young man, he can do anything he sets his mind to do,” said David McWater, CEO of Split-T Management.

“I feel great about signing with Split-T Management. David McWater and Split-T Management have been dominating the game. David has been a friend of my father’s for a long time, and has been giving me great advice. After that advice, I won the city, state and National Golden Glove tournaments. I am happy to be with a great manager and have my dad as my trainer. The sky’s the limit. Now I just have to stay focused and put in the work. “I feel like signing with David makes me have an all-star team with David and My dad. Having him as my trainer is an honor to continue the Marquez legacy. ” said Marquez.

David was really impressed with Giovani when he was the National Golden Gloves, and he won the outstanding fighter of the tournament,” said Raul Marquez, who trains his son Giovanni.

Marquez had an amateur record of 75-12, which culminated in winning the National Golden Glove tournament this past August in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was named the Most Outstanding boxer in the tournament.

Marquez, who won the 152-pound National Golden Gloves, will begin his pro career around 145-pounds, with the goal to campaign as a junior welterweight.

“I feel my style is a better fit for professional boxing. I am a boxer-puncher, and I can adapt to anything in the ring. I can take my time to show my skills and show every aspect of my game. I believe that I will make my debut late this year or early next year. I want to stay active and develop my skills and be entertaining in each and every fight,” said Giovanni

“I have told Giovanni, me being his dad, gets a lot of attention. He has been getting attention. I tell him that he has to work hard and he can’t cut any corners. He works hard, and he is very disciplined. He is always working out and staying in shape. It is a long road and it’s a tough sport. We are going to try our best, I have learned so much from my career and my broadcasting. Add that to Dave’s connection, I feel that he will go far. We are ready for this step,” said Raul Marquez

Split-T Management has announced the signing of 2021 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson.

Johnson, 23 years-old of Cleveland, Ohio, will compete as a welterweight in the professional ranks.

“Signing with Split-T Management is a dream come true. I have a great relationship with (Split-T Management CEO) Dave McWater. He has seen me fight as a youth, and has followed my amateur career very closely. I am very comfortable with Dave and his team because he has taught me a lot about life outside the ring, and has given me great advice. Being that comfortable has helped me in the ring,” said Johnson.

“Tiger is just such a special kid. I first saw him in Reno in January of 2016, and I immediately knew that he was going to be a star. I am excited to be part of his journey,” said McWater.

Johnson began boxing at the age of seven as he had uncles and cousins who were professional boxers, including former light heavyweights Darrel Johnson (11-3-1, 8 KOs) and Ronald Johnson (17-1, 4 KOs).

Tiger Johnson had a highly decorated amateur career finishing with a record of 188-17, and saw him win a Gold Medal in the 2016 Youth World Championships; a Bronze Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games; a 2019 Last Chance Qualifier Championship; Four 2017 Elite National Championships; a 2016 Elite National Championship; a 2015 Youth National Championship; and a 2014 National Junior Olympic Championship.

Johnson made it to the quarterfinals of the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo before losing to the eventual Gold Medal winner, Cuban Roniel Iglesias.

In his spare time, Johnson makes musical beats and is an avid reader of comic books.

Johnson is trained by widely respected Cleveland trainer Renard Sefo and former professional fighter Prenice Brewer.

Split-T Management has announced the signing of amateur standout Trinidad Vargas.

Vargas, of Dallas, Texas, has an incredible amateur resume that culminated with a record of 198-12 and won 13 National Championships.

“I feel that signing with Split-T Management will open doors for me. I know they will do the job for me and I am comfortable with them,” said Vargas.

The 18-year-old Vargas started boxing at age 6 and had his first fight at age 8.

“My father was an amateur boxer and he was my backbone to the sport. He took me to a gym, and when he started teaching me the sport, I fell in love with it,” said Vargas

That spawned the aforementioned amateur career that saw him become a 6x Junior Golden Gloves National Champion, Silver Gloves National Champion; 2017 Junior Open Champion; 2017 Western Regional Champion; 2017 Eastern Regional Champion; 2018 USA Junior Boxer of the Year; 2018 Junior Olympics Champion for which he won the Male Boxer of the Tournament; 2018 Eastern Regional Champion and Western Regional Champion.

Vargas’ great-grandfather was a professional boxer. In his spare-time, Vargas has an interest in cars, in particular JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars. He lists Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao as his favorite fighters and is also a fan of Canelo Alvarez and Gervonta Davis.

He is trained by his father Nick Vargas and will debut as a super flyweight in the professional ranks.
