Jair “Kaiser” Valtierra retained the World Boxing Council Latino Lightweight Championship at the Black Berry Auditorium in Mexico City, by defeating Emanuel “Pollo” López by TKO in the fourth round, in a fight presented by All Star Boxing with Telemundo Deportes broadcast.
The exchanges of blows were immediate, with both working to head and to the body, but with the Latino champion managing the distance better, attacking from afar and releasing shots to the body, causing Emanuel to raise his hands.
The former world champion López went on the attack and found the head of Valtierra with hooks. Jair who was not perturbed, waited for the moment to feint up and sink accurate hooks to the body, which began to undermine resistance.
After unleashing a hail of blows in the corner of López, Jair began to move around the ring and cause López’s to again leave his body uncovered, a situation that Valtierra took full advantage of to deposit him to the canvas and after that the Referee ended the fight, which was won by technical knockout.
