There were impressive victories for Guido Vianello and Avril Mathie on Saturday as they each secured dominant victories in America.
Vianello (8-0-1, 8 KOs) was competing on the Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Masayoshi Nakatani undercard at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, and the heavyweight was extremely dominant, as he stopped Marlon Williams (6-2, 3 KOs) via second round TKO.
It means the Italian has now extended his unbeaten record and returned to winning ways, following his draw with Kingsley Ibeh back in October.
Elsewhere on Saturday, female star Mahie (6-0-1, 3 KOs) also extended her unbeaten record as she defeated Moni Trejo (2-2-1, 1 KO) by unanimous decision in Florida.
All three judges scored the fight 58-56, handing Mathie the victory ahead of her planned return on September’s Thor Bjornsson vs. Eddie Hall heavyweight showdown.
Michael Pengue was also due to compete in Queensland, Australia on Saturday, but he wasn’t cleared to compete by the ringside doctor after battling a sinus infection all week.
