Patrick Liukhoto vs. George Lumoly
Robert Kopa vs. Adli Hafidz
Bekasi City, Jakarta, Indonesia 25/9/21
Barring a draw, Indonesia will soon be able claim the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) World Bantamweight Championship.
On September 25 in Bekasi City, on the outskirts of Jakarta, compatriots Patrick Liukhoto and George Lumoly will fight for the vacant title, in the main event of a show promoted by Viktori Target Promotions.
Fighting out of Kupang, 27-year-old Liukhoto brings a record of 12-2-2 (8), and is a former undefeated Indonesian national champion.
Lumoly (29), also a former Indonesian champion, is 15-8-1 (11), and as a resident of Jakarta he will have some sort of home-court advantage come fight-night.
Both men have been in camp for the fight for a while, as it was originally planed to happen earlier in the summer. Covid restrictions postponed the event, but it now appears to be all systems go.
Also on the show, Indonesia´s Robert Kopa (14-9-3, 4 KOs) will be in for a tough night when he squares off with unbeaten Malaysian Adli “Goldenboy” Hafidz (8-0, 4 KOs) for the vacant UBO Inter-Continental Middleweight title.
