Tatyana Zrazhevskaya Defeats Estrella “Chacala” Valverde in Russia

Russian Tatyana Zrazhevskaya was crowned interim bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council, defeating Mexican Estrella “Chacala” Valverde by unanimous decision over 10 rounds, this Saturday in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The fight was intense from the very beginning, with “Chacala” trying to find her taller rival, who resorted to greater speed and longer reach.

The scores cards were all in Tatyana’s favor, twice 100-90 and 99-91. Tatyana, 29, improves to 11-0, 3 KOs while Valverde, 35, is now 18-7-2, 3 KOs.
