On October 1 at the Mesquite Rodeo in Texas, the second round of the tournament “The Big Belt Championship,” which is presented by the promoter The Boxing Showcase with the endorsement of the World Boxing Council.

In what will be the program’s stellar match, an out-of-tournament fight, scheduled to 6 rounds at 160 pounds, with American Mark “Güero” Vázquez facing experienced Mexican Ulises “Xochimilca” Jiménez.

In a 4-round match within the tournament in the 147-pound division featuring Jake “Snake” Ysasi against Jokorean Swanson.

In another interesting match within the tournament at 118 pounds, Fernando “Kid” Vázquez will make his professional debut.

Other fights:

In fights within the tournament and scheduled to 4 rounds, Texan Dominique “Dynamite” Griffin (4-0-1, 2 KO) will fight with Mexican Moisés Sixto Gómez (2-0-1, 2 KO) in 118 pounds; Keven “Baby Boy” Soto (1-0) versus Orlando Collins (0-4) at 140 pounds; Refugio “Cuco” Montellano (2-0, 1 KO) against Casey Dinard Foster (Pro-debut); Joshua Bryan Reyes (1-0) vs. Juan Tadeo Garcia (Pro-debut) at 126 pounds.

In out-of-tournament bouts we will have the debut of Honduran prospect Merin “Catracho de Oro” Salazar, who will clash with Jorge Luis Munguía at 160 pounds.

While, at 135 pounds at 4 rounds, Texans Omar Urieta (0-1) and Czyz Harrison (0-1) will open the card.
