‘The Heaviest Boxing Match in History’

The early bird PPV sale is now live for the long-awaited showdown between strongmen rivals Thor Björnsson and Eddie Hall.

The pair are set to finally do battle on September 18 in the USA, with the event being broadcast exclusively live on CoreSports.World.

The early price PPV sale is now live, with fans given the chance to purchase the event for only $9.99 (£7.99) by clicking HERE. Ticket sales for the event are set to begin on July 5.

MTK Global will serve as the official boxing advisors for the event, as Thor and Hall going head to head in a clash dubbed as ‘The Heaviest Boxing Match in History.’

Hall holds a number of incredible accolades, including winning the 2017 World’s Strongest Man, and also winning UK’s Strongest Man every year from 2011 to 2016.

Björnsson’s resume is just as impressive, with the man known as ‘Thor’ winning the 2018 World’s Strongest Man, 2018 World’s Ultimate Strongman, 2018 to 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic and winning Iceland’s Strongest Man every year from 2011 to 2020. He is also known for playing Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane in the critically acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones.

In 2016, Hall set a new deadlift world record with 500 kg (1,100 lb), with that record standing until 2 May 2020, when it was broken by Björnsson, who deadlifted 501 kg (1,105 lb) in Reykjavík, with that only helped to further the rivalry between the two strongmen.

Along with the grudge match between Hall and Thor, the card will also feature a showdown between CrossFit rivals Josh Bridges and Jacob Heppner, plus undefeated female star Avril Mathie, and world record holding powerlifter Stefi Cohen are in action too.
