Rising bantamweight star Dennis McCann will take part in his tenth professional contest next month when he takes on dangerous Tanzanian John Chuwa.

The fight will take place on a Queensberry Promotions event at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday 10 July, which also features Archie Sharp going up against Marcio Soza for the vacant WBO Global super-featherweight title.

McCann (9-0, 5 KOs) has picked up points wins over Pedro Matos and Luis Moreno in his last two outings, getting some vital rounds in the bank as he continues his development.

He now turns his attention to Chuwa (20-4, 10 KOs) who has shared the ring with the likes of Tommy Frank, Ross Murray and Prince Patel during his career.

Chuwa heads into the fight on the back of three straight victories, with McCann looking to become just the second man to stop the Tanzania boxer in 24 professional contests.
