• UBO Female World Welterweight Champion Summer Lynn (6-0, 3 KOs) is scheduled to return to action on February 12.

Lynn (20), from Chicago and trained by accomplished coach Rick Ramos alongside IBF, IBO, WBC and WBA World Champion Jessica McCaskill, will be fighting an opponent to be confirmed over six rounds at Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, Iowa.

• In a genuine Ghanaian Super-Fight, undefeated UBO International Super Lightweight Champion Robert Quaye (20-0, 17 KOs) will clash with George Ashie (32-5-1, 21 KOs) on March 6 at the Bokum Boxing Arena in Accra.

“The Stopper” Quaye, who won the UBO title last October with a first round knockout of Nathaniel Nukpe, has the better statistics and is the younger man by eight years, but “Red Tiger” Ashie has experience on his side and is coming off four wins inside the distance.

• Former UBO Central Africa Super Welterweight titlist Jaques Tshikubu Muvud (7-1, 4 KOs) from D.R. Congo has relocated in South Africa, and will have his third fight there on February 20.

Muvud will face puncher Junior Makondo (7-5, 7 KOs) in Venda, with the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) All-Africa Super Welterweight title on the line.

• Former UBO World Super Welterweight Champion Tommy “The Titan” Browne (42-8-2, 18 KOs) has announced his retirement from the sport as an active fighter.

Browne won the UBO International title in 2017, stopping Indonesian Alexander Bajawa in Singapore, and the UBO World title in 2018 by stopping Ghana´s Ebenezer Lantei Lamptey on home soil in Australia.

We wish Tommy, who has always been a great representative for our beautiful sport, a very happy retirement, and have no doubt he will be successful outside the ring as well.
