Former three times world champion Vasyl Lomachenko returned to the ring after 8 months of inactivity, knocking out lofty and lanky Japanese fighter Masayoshi Nakatani in the ninth round, topping the bill at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lomachenko had not entered the ring since October last year when he was defeated by Teofimo López. He`s now fully recovered from a shoulder injury and performed sensationally.

Vasyl was in excellent condition, cleverly boxed Nakatani, displaying a striking technical arsenal, and won by KO in the ninth round. En route he dropped his opponent in round five, swelled his right eye and bloodied his nose, reducing the distance with that southpaw lightning left to pinpoint effect.
