Victor Santillan & Jose Armando Valdez Both Make Weight
Victor Santillan vs. Jose Armando Valdez
Dominican Victor Santillan and Mexican Jose Armando Valdez met the weight for their bout this Saturday at the Gimnasio Estancio, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedecaribe bantamweight title.
Both fighters scored 118 pounds and both are ready to fight for the vacant belt in the capital of Quisqueyana in the event organized by Shuan Boxing and Spartan Boxing Club.
Santillan is a 25-year-old southpaw prospect with a nice boxing style. He made his debut in 2018 and has made nine fights since then, all wins. His career has been developed between Dominican, Puerto Rico and the United States and he occupies the 11th position in the WBA ranking.
“Pambelé” Valdez will try to ruin the local boxer’s party. The 27-year-old Mexican comes in with a string of two knockout wins and is motivated to win the belt.
Santillan has 9 wins, 3 of them by knockout, while Valdez has 9 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw and 4 knockouts.
