WBF Boxer of the month for July 2021: Cesar Armando Marquez

Cesar Armando “Jaguar” Marquez from Mexico is the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Boxer of the Month for July 2021.

Marquez won the vacant WBF World Super Welterweight title on July 24 in his home-town Tuxtla Gutierrez, beating undefeated El Salvadorian Ricardo “Diamante” Cortez.

The local favorite, now 10-1-1 (7), had to come off the floor in round one, but took over the fight and went on to impressively win by ninth round stoppage.
