Super bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council Luis Nery, will face Brandon Figueroa, on Saturday at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Both undefeated fighters have completed a great preparation for this important fight and are ready to step into the ring.

Nery, 26, won the WBC title by defeating compatriot Aaron Alameda by unanimous decision in September 2020.

“For me Brandon Figueroa is an obstacle to my career and a threat to my future plans. I need to take care of that threat and I will do it with a great performance next Saturday,” said Nery.

Figueroa, 24, became the WBA world champion by defeating Yonfrez Parejo in April 2019.
“It is an important fight and for that reason I had a great training camp. I’m going to step into the ring and give my all to win,” Brandon commented.
