MTK Kazakhstan, in association with Tukeshov Boxing Promotions, presents MTK Fight Night on Saturday December 11 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

One of the featured bouts will be for the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title, as Yedil Kozhamberdiyev (10-2, 10 KOs) will face undefeated Hamza Gunes (6-0, 4 KOs) from Turkey for the vacant crown.

The massive championship quadruple-header, will in parts be broadcast live by ESPN+ in the USA, and IFLTV world-wide.

Kozhamberdiyev has won his last nine bouts after two slip-ups early in his career, and will be looking to add the UBO title to WBC, WBA and IBA regional belts already in his collection.

For Gunes it will be his first championship fight since turning pro in 2018, but the former amateur-stand-out has proved his quality by defeating two undefeated opponents in his six starts.

The local man enters the fight as the favourite, but Gunes will be highly motivated knowing that the winner will likely be in line to fight for world honours in 2022.
