Yuliahn “Cobrita” Luna Wants Scaled Challenges

Yuliahn ‘Cobrita’ Luna, bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council, knows that although she was crowned in a brilliant way last October, many challenges and challengers are on their way.

Luna Ávila says she’s thrilled to have won the WBC`s ‘Revelation of the Year’ Award, commenting:
“I like to face the challenges that life presents me and for me it would be an honor to face any of the great world champions or former champions, and even move up a division!

“That night I was the only one who envisioned myself taking that belt home and in so doing, I showed what I’m made of. Now I am ready to continue demonstrating it,” said the new champion represented by Promociones del Pueblo.

With a professional record of 20 wins, with 3 knockouts; her father Julio Luna is her coach , and her mentor is former world champion Cristian Mijares. She plans to defend the crown in March.
