Zepeda vs. Lundy Reinforces Ramirez vs. Taylor May 22

José Zepeda vs. Hank Lundy

José Zepeda (33-2, 26 KOs, 2 NC) will defend his World Boxing Council Silver super lightweight title, against the experienced North American Hank Lundy (31-8-1, 14 KOs), on May 22 in Las Vegas, on the card starring José Ramírez and Josh Taylor.

Zepeda won the most extraordinary fight of last year by knocking out Ivan Baranchyk in the fifth round on October 9 at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas.

Lundy, is an experienced fighter who has faced a great level of opposition against Terence Crawford, Viktor Postol and Thomas Dulorme. Hank is coming off a unanimous decision win over Argentina’s Ezequiel Fernández (28-4-1, 3 KOs, 1 NC) 14 months ago in Hockessin, Delaware.

The card, which is promoted by Top Rank, will be televised on ESPN.
