On May 15, former champion Zulina Muñoz returns to the ring to face Isis Vargas at Arena San Juan, Pantitlán in Mexico City.

Victory would provide a springboard impetus towards for a world championship tilt this year against Yulihan Luna and Yamileth Mercado.

“I am motivated because I am going to reappear, it will be a very tough bout but I am happy to be able to fight again. We are making a great effort, as I want to be world champion again,” said Zulina.
