Palestra Karagac in Pec, Kosovo 7/8/21

Super Middleweight contender Kamer Maloku will fight for the first time as a professional in his birth country Kosovo on August 7, when he takes on Croatian Bosko Misic for the vacant vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) World Super Middleweight title.

Germany-based Maloku (14-2, 11 KOs) has won GBU Continental and WBF and UBF International titles since turning pro in 2013. Interestingly he lost his first two pro fights, but has since won fourteen straight to line up what will be his first attempt to win a world title.

In 29-year-old southpaw Bosko Misic (22-15, 18 KOs) he will be facing an on-form and experienced opponent who is coming off two victories this summer and is full of ambition to make his third world title-shot count.

In 2018, he lost a decision to current Interim UBO World Light Heavyweight champion Christian Pawlak for the WBU World Super Middleweight crown, and the following year he was stopped by undefeated Mohammed Bekdash in a fight for the GBU World Light Heavyweight title.

The fight will be the co-featured attraction on the biggest boxing event in Kosovo history. Also on the bill, at Palestra Karagac in Pec, will be Edmond Zefi vs. Luigi Alfieri with the UBO Youth World Welterweight title at stake.

The show will be promoted by Arena Ring and Gjocaj Boxing Promotion. Kosovo T7 will televise.

When the biggest boxing event in Kosovo history takes place on August 7 at the Palestra Karagac in Pec, one of the featured bouts will be an interesting clash of young up-and-comers.

Based in the Czech Republic, Edmund Zefi (8-0, 5 KOs) returns to his birth-country to take on Italian Luigi Alfieri (6-1) for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Youth World Welterweight title.

Having entered the paid ranks in the summer of 2018, this will be only the second time 23-year-old “King Edmond” fights in Kosovo as a professional.

Last December, at the same venue, he impressively stopped former UBO Inter-Continental Champion Zoltan Szabo in five rounds.

Alfieri (25), from Vasto by the Adriatic Sea, is arguably the best young Italian at his weight. Last July he scored a split decision over 8-0 fellow prospect Pietro Rossetti in Rome.

Also on the card, promoted by Arena Ring and Gjocaj Boxing Promotion, will be Germany-based Kamer Maloku fighting in his birth-country for the first time.

Maloku (14-2, 11 KOs) takes on an opponent to be confirmed for the vacant UBO World Super Middleweight title.

Televised by Kosovo T7, the show will additionally have ten undercard bouts involving local talent.
