The stars aligned and shone down, as Julio Cesar Chavez Gonzales was born in Obregon City, Sonora. JC is the Greatest Mexican fighter ever, and the most brilliant super lightweight of all time.

Intense, hard hitting, charismatic and ambitious, he fought his way through the super featherweight, lightweight and super lightweight divisions, becoming Champion in each. Julio twice contested the welterweight championship. Today Julio is an insightful and popular boxing commentator. He’s also created two clinics to combat addictions.
