Moruti Mthalane & Sunny Edwards Weigh-In for World Title Bout

Moruti Mthalane and Sunny Edwards both made weight as they get ready for Friday’s highly-anticipated IBF flyweight title fight.

Undefeated Edwards (15-0, 4 KOs) faces flyweight king Mthalane (39-2, 26 KOs) on a Queensberry Promotions event in London this week, live on BT Sport.

The two men took place in the weigh-in on Friday, with defending champion Mthalane tipping the scales at 111lbs 14oz, while Edwards was slightly lighter at 111lbs 5oz.

Elsewhere on the card, Michael Conlan 14-0, 8 KOs) looks to move one step closer to a world title shot, dropping to super-bantamweight to square off with Ionut Baluta (14-2, 3 KOs). Conlan was ripped and ready as he came in at 121lbs 15oz, and Baluta was 122lbs.

A fantastic showdown between two unbeaten super-welterweights also takes place, as Troy Williamson (15-0-1, 11 KOs) meets Kieran Smith (16-0, 7 KOs). Williamson weighed 153lbs, and Smith was 153lbs 7oz.
